Are you looking for a third team to make a deal?

I think dallas, boston, indiana, maube even the warriors with rumors they wanna move bogut out there, miami with the loss of whitsielde would all be targets?

Was wondering that too, esp how much interest he's having IRL.

The Kings and Timberwolves both made pretty good offers, but because I'm expecting more bidding wars for him once the top level guys start to sign, I had him hold out for at least 1 more day.

Ryan anderson is a sacramento native and has been on the record as stating that hed like to come home. Just throwing that out there. I wanna confirm mybcap dpace. Sixteen seems extremely low, im under the impression that the kings are rughly 30-36 million below the cap

Harrison Barnes:

Philly would like to offer Harrison Barnes a 4 yr contract starting at 17 million with a player option on the last year. We are offering Harrison a chance to become a focal point of our offense. In Golden State, he is more of a 5/6 guy but we want to highlight him as the complete player that we know he is. That's why we put him on the Olympic team - so the rest of the world (including advertisers) know his real value.

Seth Curry:

Philly would like to offer Seth Curry a 3 yr/20 million dollar contract. We think he has been overlooked in Sacramento where the shadow of his brother looms large. He would be a perfect fit in a Simmons based offense where he can excel as the secondary ball handler while taking advantage of the open 3 looks he will get as an outlet for teams crashing the Sixers bigs down low.

Right now, we are able to offer him a starting PG role to give him the opportunity to really show his abilities. In either case, he will receive significant minutes on the Sixers, including playing some 2 guard as we see him as a multi-dimensional shooter that will fit in the many different lineup constructions we plan to run out there.

This contract will also allow him to hit the market again as an unrestricted free agent at age 28. Just think about what playing for the Sixers did for the stats of Ish Smith and MCW - now think about how Seth can take advantage of that before his next contract.

Tyler Johnson:

Philly would like to offer Tyler Johnson a 3 yr/ 24 million contract.

We think he would fit in great as our number one combo guard off the bench getting minutes both at the 2 and as a 1 when Simmons is acting as the primary ballhandler. Depending on how other contracts resolve, he might be a starter but either way we envision giving him 25 minutes a night.

Ill likely march any reasonable offer to seth curry, however i might be willing to negotiate a sign and trade for him as well

Click this link, then click the spread sheet link inside the thread then go to the 2016-17 Western Conference Tab and scroll to the Sacramento Kings...

Caron Butler - 1,551,659
Omri Casspi - 2,963,814
Willie Cauley-Stein - 3,551,160
Darren Collison - 5,229,454
DeMarcus Cousins - 16,957,900
Duje Dukan - 874,636
Rudy Gay - 13,333,333
Kosta Koufos - 8,046,500
Ben McLemore 4,008,882
Wayne Ellington's stretch salary - 882,630
Quincy Acy's Cap Hold - 980,431
James Anderson's Cap Hold - 980,431
Seth Curry's Cap Hold - 1,215,696
Eric Moreland's Cap Hold - 1,180,431
Skal Labissiere - 990,700
Malachi Richardson - 1,199,900
Let's say you leave Georgios Papagiannis and Bogdan Bogdanovic overseas

That's a total salary of: $55,901,057
94,000,000 minus 55,901,057 equals 38,098,943 in cap space after renouncing Rondo
So the numbers were a bit off, but feel free to bring these things to my attention and I will make sure to double check.

Just a heads up, you haven't requested those players to be overseas yet, though, so it's actually closer to the $36 you said originally.

I'm open to it but so far teams have not been reasonable in my view in sign and trade discussions. I mean, we're talking about a backup PG here so the amount I'd be willing to offer is reflective of that.

Current offers:
Luol Deng - 14M x 2 (player option for year 2)
Jordan Clarkson - asked to await Lakers completion of Day 3 to decide.

On the block:
Nick Young
Lou Williams

owed picks:
2017 1st to Philly - L.A. Lakers' 1st round pick to Philadelphia (via Phoenix) protected for selections 1-3 in 2017 and unprotected in 2018 [L.A. Lakers-Phoenix, 7/11/2012; Milwaukee-Philadelphia-Phoenix, 2/19/2015]

2019 1st to Orlando - If the L.A. Lakers convey a 1st round pick to Philadelphia in 2017, then the L.A. Lakers' 2019 1st round pick to Orlando; if the L.A. Lakers do not convey a 1st round pick to Philadelphia in 2017, then the L.A. Lakers will instead convey their 2017 2nd round pick and 2018 2nd round pick to Orlando [L.A. Lakers-Orlando, 8/10/2012]

2019 2nd to CLE or POR - Portland will receive the more favorable of the L.A. Lakers' 2019 2nd round pick (via Indiana to Cleveland) and Minnesota's 2019 2nd round pick (via Cleveland) and Cleveland will receive the less favorable of these two picks [Cleveland-Minnesota, 6/25/2015; Indiana-L.A. Lakers, 7/9/2015; Cleveland-Indiana, 7/23/2015; Cleveland-Portland, 7/27/2015]; Cleveland may convey the pick to Portland (see Cleveland Outgoing)

Stance:
The Lakers still owe 1st rounders to Philly and Orlando. Most-likely, these 2 picks are conveyed on '17 and '19. Therefore, owe 2 of the next 3 picks to other teams. Meaning, we are not in the position to deal picks anytime soon until these obligations are extinguished.

At the same time, the Lakers are done being a bottom-3 team. We may or may not make the playoffs with the roster, but our goal is to make the playoffs by the end of the season.

If and when Deng takes our offer, and Clarkson is retained, the Lakers would be quite deep and complete. I guess we're waiting for Russell, Ingram, Randle and Clarkson to develop into more-seasoned players before we can be considered shoe-in playoff team or a contender.

Dallas having missed out on our main 2 free agent targets as expected are willing to take on contracts via trade if you have some salary you'd like to move.

Houston actions:
1) Confirm we are offering a full max to Horford (with a full trade kicker and last year player option and anything else his heart desires).

Roster of Beverly/Harden/Ariza/Horford/Capella is a top 4 roster in the league, and it is in a great market with no state sales tax. Planning to run nothing but Harden Horford pick and pops so his role will be great. And we were litrally the only team to show up day 1 right away.

2) Contact Ryan Anderson and let him know if Horford falls through we will have a big offer for him, so we recommend he waits 1 day before accepting anything.

(3) remind our restricted guys that when they get an offer, to not sign it and see if we will do the exact same offer with 7.5% raises and/or 1m higher starting point after we spend our cap space)

Brewer and Dekker for a top 55 protected 2022 2nd? I need to confirm Shump is off the table, but if so I think I am willing to do that.

Dallas offers Jason Terry a one year deal for the vet minimum so he can retire in Dallas. That's the pitch. Come to Dallas to retire and then take a job in the organization.

Dallas offers Kevin Martin a 2-year deal for $12M with a PO in year 2 which is also ungtd (mutual option essentially). The pitch here is to come be a scorer off the bench. Dallas has a long tradition of 6th men and we'd like you to join the ranks.

Dallas offers Timofey Mozgov a 3 year $30M deal. We still believe you can be a starting center and we are offering you a good contract to come in and be our starter.

Dallas is offering Ryan Anderson 4/$80M. Ryan you will come in to be the 3rd big but with major minutes. We will possibly even play you some at SF when we go to our zone. You won't start (Dirk) but you will be a big minute guy and a primary offensive option.

Dallas is offering Deron Williams a chance to return. 2 years $20M with a PO on the 2nd year. You can return and be the starting PG again. You liked it here. Stay home.

Dirk, you let us know what you want. We are going to keep working to put a team around you. But you remain as always our top priority.

Bucks ask to meet with Tyler Johnson to pitch him on Milwaukee. Kidd, Hammond and LED are all present at the meeting with Kidd doing most of the pitching. "Hi Tyler, we all but I in particular have been very impressed with your play and progression on the court over the last two seasons. We feel you would be the perfect fit starting next to Giannis and will be given every opportunity to do so. With our coaching staff behind you we feel you will continue to improve your overall game and be a very productive player in the league for the next decade. We are willing to trade our prized offseason free agent signing, Greg Monroe to clear the cap space needed to make room for a young up and coming player like yourself. Our offer is 4yrs/$36MM with a PO on the 3rd year in case you feel the need to retest the market and TO on the 4th year."

Edit: I forgot about the Arenas Provision so he is the salary breakdown by years; $5.62MM, $5.88MM, $12MM (PO), $12.5MM (TO)

I would be interested in Henson and MCW for Harris and Anderson.

Edit: This would be contingent on signing another free agent.

Just as an FYI to everyone, we have moved this project over to the Games portion of the Trades and Transactions Board as we prepare for real-life free agency. The Trade Board Moderators still fully support this project, but really it had belonged in the Games section from the beginning and we allowed it on the main board so that sportscrazy could draw from our excellent pool of regulars for this simulation.

I continue to look forward to how this plays out.

Brewer and Dekker for a top 55 protected 2022 2nd? I need to confirm Shump is off the table, but if so I think I am willing to do that.

I will accept if your Shump deal falls apart.

Goudelock was unguaranteed until 8/1. If you take him also, I will agree to the deal now. Its a min contract for a guy worth a min contract, but I want no part of him on my roster.

Done. Will PM the commissioner now. And this is about how I expect the Dallas off-season to go. Strike out on unrealistic free agency targets and try and fill some of the holes via trade.
