Okay just going with the "common sense" pick here, not gonna overthink it, Give me:

Ron Artest (aka Metta World Peace)
HIgh level defender, good/efficient scorer, adequate shooter, can do a bit of everything and is a great fit between draymond and Kobe (proven fit with the latter.) I have the FGA to shed and need someone who can both play tenacious defense and score a fair bit (but not be too ball dominant, prolly gonna go with the 2002-2003 season for that reason, had "only" a 22% Usg rt. scored 15.5 ppg on 12.3 FGA.)

I'll take Brent Barry.
Can backup the 1 or 2, defend, shoot the lights out and his peak is only 9.8 FGA

Excellent high volume 3-point shooter and All-Defense caliber on the other end of the court. Will fit perfectly with LeBron and Billups in my backcourt.

Sorry guys...today has been a weird day.
My list was literally the last 4 guys that just went in some variation. This has seemingly happened in every round. Ya'll are good. Honestly don't want to waste more time as I have to go. I'm gonna take PJ Brown. <8 shots. PF/C capability, efficient, mid-range shooter, very solid rebounder, and an outstanding defender.

Reggie needs a good point guard who can set him up for corner threes and play some strong defense.
I've been stingy with my FGA and had hoped to cash in a little later, but looking at the board there's nearly 30 picks between this and my next pick, so this is happening right now.
John Wall. Also surprisingly decent as a shooter in the selected 2013-14 year.

I think I have established enough outside shooting to justify drafting this guy. Plus, the number of elite wing defenders is quickly dropping. So give me...
Tony Allen

Tony Allen and Shane Battier should do a solid job locking up opposing wing scorers.

I was hesitant making my 3rd round pick because of the prospect of not having a dominant two guard.
I was relieved when I was reassured by this pick that we didn't need no B-side players.

The JET Jason Terry

I am pleasantly surprised that this player is still here. He tends to have a bad wrap around this forum, but his peak year, in 2001, was a fantastic display of all around basketball. With a split of 19.9/6.9/6.5, Steve Francis could do everything from the PG position. His shooting form was in top gear this year with 40% from 3 on over 4 attempts per game. At only 15.2 attempts, he compliments Grant Hill and Anthony Davis well.

I'm not picking Ricky Davis!

This is a bit risky, but I see several options I like to fill out my starting lineup and am confident one of them will fall a ways... so I'm going for low FGA valuable role-players right now. On that note, give me:

Jared Dudley, going for the 2009-10 season in Phoenix where he took only 6.0 FGA/G, averaged over 8 pts, 43% from 3 (spacing is very important to us) and had great metrics, can play the 2-4, just a great bench guy for us.

Was going back and forth on this one, settling on:

Tristan Thompson, 2015-16 season, A tiny 5.1 FGA, but averaged 7.8 pts because of his super high efficiency, 9 rbs, solid metrics and he won a ring... the championship pedigree of this team is indisputable.
