I'll take Elton Brand to give me some offensive firepower in the front court. I love him next to Dikembe. I'll be using his less-usage but still amazing 01-02 Season. Will quote in a sec.

Re: 80s / 00s Cross-Eras Draft Thread: Round 4 going strong,
Alright here we go. Pelifan sent me his picks so I'm just making all 4 of ours right here in this post.
First off, give me the best Amar'e replacement out there, a guy who took the sting out of that blow when I realized he's still available

Chris Bosh, a better 2-way big than Amar'e and arguably a better pairing with Hakeem, in either case a very lethal front court duo.
Pelifan will go with an impressive one/two punch of this guy:

Kevin Johnson, one of those all-nba PGs that can be gotten in the later rounds he was talking about earlier
And then this guy:

Paul Pressey, great defender and playmaker at the 3 for very reasonable FGA.
And finally, my other pick is going to be:

Brandon Roy. He always played the 2 but that was a result of Portland's personnel. At 6'6" 215 I think he's perfectly capable of starting at the 3 and he'll be playing a fair bit of backup 2 for us anyway. I use up a lot of my FGA between Bosh and Roy but I think I have a killer starting 5 now and definitely have plans to round out my bench.

A versatile all defense player who can do all the little things to help our team win...
Scottie Pippen

He almost led the Blazers to the Finals and brings some veteran leadership to our team.

Via PM request, dantley selects Alvin Robertson.
For me, I'm thrilled to land a defensive force (for cheap!) who compliments Dirk nicely:

More expensive than I would prefer, but still only 14 shots, I will go with Rip Hamilton. The season I am selecting, he was also a great 3 point shooter.

Alright, this guy often goes undrafted or like 8th round but I think he's very underrated and after a lot of digging couldn't find a better prince replacement than him. Give me:

All-defensive player, highly efficient on the offensive end, can rebound and assist at a high level. He'll be our versatile backup forward who may even start in matchups where Roy would get beat up too much (e.g.: lebron) Great glue guy for under 10 FGA, just what the doctor ordered.
