I'd say people need to chill. He put the wrong cap hold. It had zero affect on him getting KD.

If this rides, then I truly expect RR9 to be much more compliant the rest of the game. No offense, but thus far, he has been one of the overall worst at keeping things up-to-date #ComplyOrDie

He definitely gets KD. The decision was made. He had like $50M in cap space. Who cares if the cap hold was off? It had zero impact. People are just upset because they wanted KD. This is a game and people are going to make mistakes.

 yikes

My job really isn't to make sure rosters are enforced, it's to do what I think each free agent would do given the offers received.

James Johnson's cap hold at 1 million instead of 5 million makes no impact on that decision. And neither does R9's history of not being able to keep a proper roster page. I know rosters need to be up to date but do you expect me to go through 30 roster pages fact checking while sorting through a whole mess of FA offers?

Peli-bro, you did absolutely nothing wrong, at all. Thank you so much in helping us out. The fact that you were 100% biased is exactly why we needed you deciding. Thank you Sir!

Here is some rumors...

What is this '16 summer all over again? There is a lot of money flying around.

Rose and Iggy joining force somewhere warm?

Most of the RFAs are upset at the offers that they have gotten.

'Supporting' players are getting paid very nicely.

JR - you've been at it long enough - I load up and dont get into FA - other than a RFA or an occassional massive overpay for a mid level guy - FA will rip your heart out if your counting on things making sense! Some good deals available for guys trying to get into that folly.

Good Luck.

I'm not as crushed tonight as I was last night. Though I wasn't as hurt last night as I was back in either 2015 or 2016 during one of those FA times... whenever I had the Sixers (go figure). Anyways, I don't think people can really be objective, even with being on the outside, especially when you have ties to gm's.

I'm not saying anything was fixed, but that human agents are very capable of making human errors.

That is all.

I won't lie J.R., in previous games I've felt that to be the case. I'm still "new" to all these games, and I especially feel that way in the draft game I participated in that when something is close voters/agents in this case, side with the more familiar party.

Hell in the draft game, I owned 6 arguably 7 of the 8 matchups, but yet I lost..

Update:

I am waiting for one GM to get back to be to clarify what his offer was for? It was a little bit confusing and just want to make sure I understand his offer to the player.

It could be.

I can post what I have done and then post the one player's decision when I hear back from the GM.

Here is the results for Tier Two.

Dallas Mavericks sign two players in FA. Derrick Rose and Andre Igoudala could not help but take the large stack of money that Mr. Cuban is shelling out. The both sifn for 84 million over 4 years (21 million a year). The just could not turn down that much money.

New Orleans Pelicans have signed Danilo Gallinari. This deal just was too good to pass up and the Agent was not sure if this offer was real when he first got it. The deal he signed for was for 130.75 million over 5 years with the 5th being a PO (26.15 million a year). He is excited to be re-joining the Pelicans along with....

New Orleans Pelicans have come to agreement with the following shooter, J.J. Reddick. The offer is for 82.286680 million over 4 years with the 4th being a PO (20.571670 million a year). He feels with him and a resigned Gallo, they will make a push for that ring this season.

Boston Celtics have signed Tyreke Evans. He really was only talking to one team and that one team offered him 105 million over 5 years (21 million a year) and that is lot of money, just could not turn it down.

Phoenix Suns have signed Kyle Korver to a deal. The offer is reported worth 72.639249 million over 4 years (18.15981225 million a year). He likes what is happening in the Phoenix and is willing to do anything to help the team.

Los Angles Lakers have agreed to a deal with Jeff Teague. Jeff and his agent went back and forth on which deal he should take. He had a deal where he would be playing with a power house on the East coast but he money was a little bit better and he wanted to bring the Lakers back to their glory. The deal is reported worth 80 million over 4 years with the 4th being a PO (20 million a year). *Was one of the hardest ones.

The Detroit Pistons were busy the second day of FA. They signed four RFAs to deals. Those four RFAS have signed an offer sheet worth 42 million over 4 years with the 4th being a PO (10.5 million a year).
The structure is the following:
Year 1 - 9.9 M
Year 2 - 10.3 M
Year 3 - 10.7 M
Year 4 - 11.1 M (PO)

The four players are Joe Ingles, Nikola Mirotic, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Tim Hardaway Jr. All four guys are happy to sign the offer letters and join the Pistons.

**Their old teams have 24 hours starting from now, to match their offers or lose them to Detroit Pistons.**

Toronto Raptors have come to a deal with Andrew Bogut. The deal is worth 25.5 million over 4 years (6.375 million a year). He is able to have a starting spot and is liking how the Raptors are being built and ran.

Philadelphia 76ers have come to an agreement with Amir Johnson on a deal worth 36 million over 2 years (18 million a year). This was his best deal by long shot.

Washington Wizards have come to an agreement with George Hill. He was going back and forth with his two main offers. One was for a little bit more money over the life of the deal and the other was for his old team. The offer that he accepted was for 85 million over 5 years with 5th being a PO (17 million a year). He is happy to rejoin the Wizards and play with Love, Jordan, and Hayward. Hope to bring a ring to the Capital for years to come.

Recap what happen in Tier Two and RFAS.

Danilo Gallinari - Signed with NOP
Amir Johnson - Signed with PHI

There was a total of 953,175,929 million in contracts given out to 14 players with an average of 68 million per deal. And the agent gets 15% of the total deals, which is valued at 142 million.
