Re: Same Standing Pairs Draft - Discussion
I strongly considered just doubling down on 3/D and taking Bridges.
One of those situations where there just weren’t any very good options.
The middle actually looks strongest. Embiid/Peja/Klay/Kidd and JJJ/Giannis/Pierce/Billups are both excellent.
And there are still some very good singleton stars who fit better with lower pick teams that they did with those of us higher in the draft.
Great draft to be everywhere but the first 4 picks IMO.

Harden and Draymond could've been great for you

Yeah. I thought about them. Wasn’t convinced enough to pull the trigger before the option was taken. I think I don’t love Draymond in these and I wasn’t going to have enough off-ball talent to truly take advantage of him.
I’m high on 2004 Cassell (especially with KG and I get Zo’s best season. We’ll see.

I think most benches will be pretty trashy.

DRose gone.
Well at least that validates my decision not to go conservative.

Re: Same Standing Pairs Draft - Discussion
Got lucky there with still being able to get Miller off the bench as a shooter and adding McDaniels to the starting lineup.
A wing defender who is a great shooter at the same time.

If I'd remembered him, I would have gone with Korver instead of Allen in the second. Allen is a good player and a nice fit, but 9.2 FGAs is too expensive for that archetype. I could picked up a cheaper or better option in the last two rounds.

I forgot about Lowry, so we're even.
