I'd personally argue that pairing Paul George with Tim Duncan or Kawhi might have moved those picks up a slot but it wouldn't have made them overpowered in terms of the whole game.

Well Im pleased.

I think my fit around jordan is pretty lethal.

Lots of defense, spacing and high IQ.

I think J Williams fills a scottie pippen type role with better shooting lesaer defense and playmaking

Kidd superior to ron harper at defense, shooting and playmaking

Millsp a much lesser defender/rebounder but massively better scorer/spacer to Rodman

Lopez a much better player than those bulls centers.

I always forget how annoying it is trying to find the last pick in a pairs draft. :noway:

Thought I nailed it. Then I saw some of these other teams. :o

Now I...still kind of think I nailed it. But we'll see. There are some insane teams in this.

I was pretty sure Penny would fall to you, really cheap fga wise and fits like a glove, gives you a secondary playmaker in the starting lineup that will free up Steph to do his offball magic. I thought you might have gone with Draymond because of proven fit and you could choose his cheap season in 2021 ( only 5.5 fga ) but with Penny and Iggy I guess you don't need Draymond's playmaking

I could have use Draymond's defense, but with Dwight it felt less urgent. I really needed another wing defender to address matchup issues though. Iggy fit the bill. He's kind of a poor man's Pippen.

If I'd known exactly how this was going to play out I may have taken Jalen Suggs instead of Rashard Lewis in round 1. That would have allowed me to take Draymond/Penny and have it be a more comfortable fit. On the other hand, like you said, I didn't REALLY need Draymond's playmaking, and Rashard gives me a third high volume 3 point shooter in the lineup.

Dwight/Rashard/Klay/Steph as my first 4 guys felt like it gave me a lot more freedom with that 5th starter though, and I had no way of knowing Dray/Penny would fall so far.

Makes sense

Good to have finals mvp Iggy to throw at Lebron, kawhi, KD etc..

Slightly surprised Harden didn't get drafted.

Almost took him and Horace Grant

Pippen was in my plans as well, but I knew the chances he'd fall are pretty much zero.

I considered a unique lineup of Pippen Butler Durant Holmgren Giannis

I briefly considered Pippen/Chet in round 2 but foresaw a perceived talent deficit, not to mention a Chet/Shard front court would likely be seen as too weak.

I wanted the splash brothers together.
That was the thought when I took Steph- get a great point guard in a weak pg pool then pair him with his perfect complement on both ends of the floor. I also think their off ball ability means they can fit a guy like Penny well.
