I was considering him in my pick as well
By far the best C after Shaq, but decided to go for a different strategy at my 5

Do you know Derrick White played for both the Spurs and Celtics?

I didn't realize anyone could put their differences behind them like that. Mad Respect

Passed on Billups in round 2 in the hopes that either Porter or Holiday would be available in the next round.

At least this time it looks like I played the board correctly- it looked a little touch and go since BOTH Billups and Holiday went to teams that already had position inflexible point guards- something I didn't expect to see. Reggie was the right call between he and Billups. Given Horford fell I'm also glad I didn't pick Paul Pierce in the last round.

Reggie/Porter/Horford is a very good and cost-effective group of stars around Shaq but I have no idea who my 5th starter is going to be.

He is a coach as well.

Debatable

Did ringer leave options for this pick?

An odd switch for him- usually he prioritizes defense.

I love Nash/Ray as a backcourt, but I got killed for it on defense even with a conventional stopper at the 3, which Pierce is not. That offense is perfect though.

TBH I probably should have taken Pierce. I made the pick in a rush this morning and assumed he'd have been taken already given how early Allen and Klay went.

Oh well. I prefer Reggie in a vacuum and both are great fits with Shaq, and it's not like the Celtics aren't a fairly deep category too.

The defense will be **** lol. But I wanted to try something new since I didn't really get anyone I really wanted. you will score 120 on my team but I will score 140 on your team :)

I like Reggie over Pierce and Ray personally, I just took Ray since he is in the bucks category

I'll do what Don Nelson would do...smoke a fat blunt and reconvene in the future.

It's just incredibly frustrating when your Internet isn't working as you leave work and miss by a minute lol
