^That makes good sense to me.

now on to something that doesn't...

more extensions...

There should not be any time left for extensions as the 09/10 season is over. We should be switching to the 2010 salaries as soon as you get all the rankings in. The players left under contract are the only ones that should be available for trade from here on out as has always been the case.

does the teams conferance weigh into the ranking? meaning if the 10th place team in the West(non playoff team) is better then the 6th(playoff) in the East should the team in West be ranked 15 or 18?

also teams are allowed to resign their own players before the date other teams can offer them a deal (in real life)

I just sent in my rankings from best to worst. I expect when Mascot does the draft order that the top 8 ranked teams in each conference will be considered playoff teams and not be eligible for the lottery.

you are correct.

I want rankings 1-29 but i will seperate the tops 8s of each. They will not be elligible.

in the top 16 there will only be 8 from each conference.

so agreeing with rocdog now, time for extensions is over.

the only player to sign an extension was Carlos Boozer.

as for the rest of the extensions.

no one offered extensions to middle tear players at all. Even after I told you all the they were the most likely to re-sign.

With them now saying Jeff Foster will be 100% by the time training camp opens up, I would be willing to listen to S&T possabilities for Haslem.

I only had 12 or so rankings to work from last game. For whatever reason many GMs just ignore doing certain parts of the game.

and

The more the dates get pushed back the less involved GMs seem to become.

agree most GM's do not care about the draft and rankings for the draft. we need to think of a final result penalty to punish these GM's from not voting (can not punish now since most likely they don't have a pick)

Did we replace Dallas?

just use the 9 rankings. This thing will go for too long otherwise.

Looking to get some more picks in the second round.

Also will probably trade Durant to the best offer, before the game's over.

Jefferson is also on the block in a S&T and could add some more to him.

Any interest in any of my two first round picks fire away....

Also i think dunkonu should be the replacement for Dallas, i mean he's already posted on the roster page so why not? He was pretty active last game.....

You take their next 3 draft picks like the punishment for the Joe Smith debacle.

just a reminder, all contracts will be fully guaranteed when the draft is completed. so if you want to cut guys like Carlos Delfino Josh Howard, Eric Dampier, then it has to be done before then or you will have to pay them their full salary.

for the arguments that Josh Howard can be cut anytime before October, that my be the case in Real Life, i cant find anything on it. But for this game its going to be July 1st, or when the draft is done so that he can be in Free Agency.
