I waived Odens caphold, so it works now then.

Houston has about $8m in caproom to absorb the difference.

Houston accepts. Giving up Beal is really tough, but we really like Paul Millsap for our team, hes a veteran but hes also only 26 so he can still grow with our core. Roddy B has great potential as well.

Jazz accept because Beal fits in too well with Rivers and our post players

#278 Houston and New Jersey have a trade:

Houston sends: Roddy Beaubois($2,227,333) + Tyler Honeycutt($809,875) = $2,989,528

New Jersey sends: Gordon Hayward($2,709,720) + #44

Houston accepts. Didn't wanna move Roddy but felt like this was good value for us. Hayward is someone we like at both the 2 and the 3 either starting or coming off the bench.

New Jersey accepts. We have been targeting Beaubois for the whole game and like the skills and athleticism that Tyler brings. We are confident that he will be a significant contributor in our rotation. We hate to lose Haywards talents, but had to make this move to shore up our PG position.

Gordan Hayward's contract is 3,452,183 - but the deal still works.

Great dealing with you again Moss!

Trade#279: Washington Wizards and Portland Trailblazers

Washington Wizards send:
51st overall pick
2013 WAS 2nd

Total: $0

Portland Trailblazers send:
Ramon Sessions

Total: $4,000,000

Sessions is a terrific pure PG, and we love how the Kyrie/Sessions tandem is playing now in real life. He's one of those rare backups that are capable of starting without missing a beat.

He'll be valuable depth and he's on a bargain contract. We're glad to acquire him for cap space.

Sessions is a good PG, but didn't plan on keeping him past the 2012-2013 season. The cap-space is the main reason of the deal.
Dammit...:

TRADE #281

Jazz Send: Daniel Gibson (4 mil) + Rights to Festus Ezeli + Rights to Darius Johnson-Odom

Heat Send: Luke Ridnaur (4 mil) + 1 mil cash

Jazz do this because Ridnaur is more of a pure PG than Gibson and we need the cash to buyout Diop

NOH and TOR have a trade to announce.

Big trade. I know I said I wouldn't do it but...

NOH outgoing:
Derrick Rose $16,324,500

TOR outgoing:
Jonas Valanciunas $2,812,200
Eric Bledsoe 1,707,720

Draft Rites:
Anthony Davis
Harrison Barnes
Terrence Jones

TOR has the cap to make this work.

We get the top pick in the draft in Davis, the best wing prospect in the draft in Barnes, a young starting center in Val and a nice prospect in Jones (10th on DX) along with a young PG to go with Smith/Henson/Douglas/Patterson and a ton of cap,

Magic Trade:

2015 1st rd pick (top 10 protected)
3 mil Cash Considerations

Total: $0 (60 mil cap-Team Salary at $59,230,415-with $769,585 space counting all cap holds)

Knicks Trade:

Josh Harrellson

Total: $762,195

Watching Harrellson play all year, his production and impact is that of a talent found in the 1st rd. Therefore there is no problem giving a future protected pick to bring him aboard. His hustle, defense and ability to space the floor with 3 pt range is something that would help this team greatly.

D rose extented is the best star Toronto could ever get. Nice dealing

Trade#284: Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls

The deal is actually three separate deals, but the summary of it would be:

Washington Wizards send:
Ramon Sessions
Cole Aldrich
Danny Green

Total: $7,945,480

Chicago Bulls send:
4.7m TPE (for Sessions)
3.362m TPE (for Aldrich)
Daniel Orton (for Green)
2014 CHI 1st
2014 CHI 2nd
$1.2m in Cash Considerations

Total: $1,182,600

Had to clear a little bit of room. Hate to give up Sessions, but I already have a backup PG. Aldrich is also a nice prospect, but no longer needed since I drafted a center.

Took a bit of tinkering but glad to get a deal done. Nice dealing Chicago.

not a player in FA, so deciding to take on value through trade was a good option instead.

NOH and MIN have a trade and trade to announce.

NOH outgoing:
Patrick Patterson $2,096,760
Draft rites:
Terrence Jones
John Henson
Anthony Davis

MIN outgoing:
Kevin Love $15,000,000

We give up some elite prospects but get a proven superstar in return. 25/14 on great 3 point shooting and improved defense makes Love the a top 2 PF. Best PF in the league according to some. Oh and he is only 23 yrs old.

We didn't want to pay Robin his max contract when we don't have a Batman. Locking ourselves in mediocricity isn't our goal. Davis should have a chance to be Batman or at the very least Robin/Catwoman while of those 3 remaining pieces,we believe at 2 has a decent shot at being rotational player given enough development minutes.

Magic Trade:

Rodney Stuckey

Total: $ 8,500,000

Bulls Trade:

Omer Asik (s&t)
2013 1st rd pick

Total: $ 8,000,000

Hate to see Stuckey go, but the opportunity to obtain a legit 7 foot starting center to place next to Horford was something that shouldn't have been passed on. Asik is a tough defender who has season highs of 15 rebounds and 5 blocks. At 25 years old, he is a good fit for the team long-term. This acquisition also replenishes the 2013 1st rd pick we lost in the Rudy Gay trade.

Omer has been signed to a 5 year/ 40 million dollar deal with a Player Option for the 4th year, and a Team Option for the 5th.
