LAC send:

$6,121,500 x 1.5 = $9,182,250 > $8,500,000

Part 2
San Antonio sends
$0,762,195 - Jordan Williams

Now it can be accepted
Since Fields can be traded now, this is trade #270.

#275: TOR and ATL have agreed to a trade:

To Atlanta:
Alec Burks ($2,111,160)
Jordan Hill ($1,500,000)

Total:
3,611,160

To Toronto:
Jeff Withey ($473,604)
Ekpe Udoh ($3,524,880)

Total: 3,998,484

Close enough, deal works.

ATL accepts. I needed a SG, and Burks fits the bill. He can score and has played well after the all-star break (7/2/1 on 52 FG% in 16 MPG). Hill is a nice 5th big on my team.

Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers make a trade #276:

To Philadelphia:

JaVale McGee $12,500,000
Jon Leuer $762,195
Travis Leslie $762,195

Total: $14,024,390

To Milwaukee:

Austin Rivers $2,339,040
Thaddeus Young $8,039,130
Joel Anthony $3,750,000
Omri Casspi $2,277,306

Total: $16,405,476

We get a SG we want. Young is a very nice player, Casspi can bring some shooting and McGee's status on basketball IQ is: Not found.

Toronto confirms #275. We need some interior defense and Udoh provides it.

Mcgee can rebound and score at a decent clip. He is an elite shot blocker and will grow into a good defensive anchor in our estimation. We needed a C badly and have a nice big 3 of Rose/Iggy/Mcgee now.

Minnesota sends:
Ricky Rubio($3,741,120) + DeMarcus Cousins($3,880,800) + Marcus Thornton($7,525,000) + Delonte West($3,000,000) = $18,146,920

Philly sends:
Derrick Rose($15,506,632) + Jon Leuer($762,195) + Travis Leslie($762,195) = $17,031,022

I hate trading Rubio, who I said was the most untouchable player on my team...but I couldn't pass up pairing Rose / Love since they are both 23 year old superstars locked in long-term. We were getting bored of the team so we needed a trade to shake things up as well.

Sucks to lose Rose but if I am going to move him, Rubio isn't a bad replacement. Rubio may end up being the best passer we have seen since Nash and his rebounding and defense are great. Cousins is also a big time player who is putting up huge numbers in limited minutes (16/11 in under 30 minutes). He can play PF and C as well. Finally, Thornton is a big time scorer, who is young and compliments Iggy. Nice trade all around.

INDIANA and DETROIT have agreed a trade.

Indiana sends:

Rajon Rondo - $11,000,000
Gustavo Ayon - $1,500,000

= $12,500,000

Detroit sends:

John Wall - $5,915,880
Dante Cunningham - $2,090,000
Tyler Honeycutt - $809,875

= $8,815,755 (*1.5 = $13,223,633 - deal works)

Why for Indiana? Well TMAC and I deliberated this trade all last night, asking for loads of opinions. Opinion was completely split... basically it just comes down to personal preference - I like John Wall a lot and he's been in good form lately... it's about 1 step backward now, 2 steps forward in the future *hopefully*!

Good dealing TMAC, knew we'd get there eventually.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

#279 is actually going to be a three-way between Charlotte/Portland/Memphis

Charlotte sends:
Cleveland's 2013 2nd
$2,462,400 - Kemba Walker
$2,500,000 - Steve Blake
$0,854,389 - Jeff Foster

$5,816,789 x 1.5 = $8,725,183 > $8,160,175

Charlotte recieves:
$7,305,786 - Mike Conley
$0,854,389 - Mustafa Shakur

$8,160,175 - Total

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Portland sends:
$1,276,560 - Dominique Jones
$0,854,389 - Mustafa Shakur

$2,130,949 - Total

Portland receives:
Cleveland's 2013 2nd
$2,500,000 - Steve Blake

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Memphis sends:
$7,305,786 - Mike Conley

Memphis receives:
$2,462,400 - Kemba Walker
$1,276,560 - Dominique Jones
$0,854,389 - Jeff Foster

$4,593,349 - Total

Charlotte does this because we like the chemistry between Conley and Gay. Plus we feel Kemba isn't going to be quite the PG as Conley is (who is averaging 7 APG being the 4th option on the Grizzlies). And he's on a pretty decent long-term contract.

We think Kemba has more upside than Conley who's 3 years older than him, we've been targeting "Cardiac Kemba" for a long time and we jumped at the chance to make a fair deal for him. Also Kemba and Lamb will have chemistry right off the bat as they played together in the middle of a championship run with Uconn.

Memphis also has to waive Jeff Foster so we don't exceed the roster limit

280#

PHI and NJN have a trade to announce.

PHI outgoing:
JaVale Mcgee $12,500,000
Andre Iguodala $14,718,250
total: $27,218,250

NJN outgoing:
Emeka Okafor $13,790,000
Andrei Kirilenko $5,500,000
Stephen Curry $3,958,742
total: $23,248,742

We don't desperately need a young franchise PG, but we like Curry a lot. Okafor/AK represent a defensive and rebounding presence on our young team and will help us to compete. Curry is an interesting chip that will serve us well moving forward.

New Jersey Confirms - Coveted Elite shooting - undersized injury prone SG brings Dream Team All Star wing. We also upgrade an elite core of wings and still have a Chauncey lite PG with a 18+PER in Rodney Stuckey. Blackice love him some Steph Curry! Great dealing.

Oh yeah - McGee brings huge upside promise to the center position and can still be the defensive anchor lost in moving Okafor.

Pistons accept #278. We cannot find a single reason why we did this (literally, ask anyone I talked to about this trade); but we accept. Why? We don't care anymore, it was decent value, I'm ridiculously bored and that's probably going to be the theme the rest of the game for how many ever odd weeks there are left in this game. We also kept luke hanging in a different trade talk a couple weeks ago, never got back to him because I couldn't decide, and felt it would be be wrong to do the same exact thing again for this trade. Good dealin' luke.

Houston and Chicago have a deal.

Part 1:

Willie Green ($854,389) for 2013 Laker 1st
(works he is min salary player)

Part 2:
Lowry ($5,750,000) for Jennings (3,179,493) Wilcox ($854,389) and 2013 Cha 1st (works as 4,033,882 total x1.5 is 6,050,823 > 5,750,000)

Houston accepts. He get a 'the lights are out' shooter in Jennings, and had to move Lowry ever since Ric Bucher started tweeting that he was going to Miami for 2 late 2nds. As an aside the 1st for Willie Green seems fair.
