Definitely a good pick, but including Stuckey there were 2 or 3 points I take 1st.

For a backup role Alston = Stuckey

I find Stuckey kind of overrated, having talked to Detroit fans, he can't be relied on to play PG for heavy amounts of time, basically short spurts, and Alston can do that just as well.

Yeah, I feel Stuckey is kind of overrated too, but mainly because he's being relied on as a big minute starter and the future face of the franchise. In a backup role I think he's money though.

Stuckey is grossly over-rated and that's coming from someone who was drinking the Stuckey kool-aid when he was entering the draft.

Again I mainly agree, but again, it is because he is being setup for the fall as the future franchise player for Detroit when he seems to just be a middle of the pack, average starter or a really good backup.

Agreed. He's a hyped up Randy Foye.

Taking Anthony Morrow here. don't look now, but he's averaging like 20 on over 50% shooting and 3pt shooting so far and his defense has been pretty decent actually. I also didn't know he could actually create his own shot so well either.

FYI to whoever has access to the thread,

on front page both VC4P and myself are listed as drafting Skip to my Lou

VC4P drafted Stuckey

Just to avoid confusion

*Also, we are on the 9th round, not 8th, round 7 was listed twice lol

the Boned Samuels select

ROY HIBBERT

He is a 7'2" rebounding beast with a nice touch and a great shot blocker. He is the perfect backup to Kaman

SnakeBite gave me permission to take BPA, and since Teddy KGB took Iverson :banghead:

gonna go with a C who can shotblock, and intimidate if need be.
