I personally think that FA is going to have flaws no matter what and it's not possible to please everybody. I would like to see a game with no free agency. It would eliminate the drama and also all the dumping of salaries to hit a home run. All you have to do is add a team option to the players with contracts that expire. If the team doesn't want them then they don't pick up the option but it would eliminate the volatility and power shifts from potential basement dwellers to powerhouses and vice versa. I for one would not miss free agency and think this is a very viable solution to a significant amount of gm's being upset halfway through every game . I didn't participate in free agency so I'm netreual in this game but I know from past ones it's frustrating as hell to lose your best or even 2 player for absolutely nothing.

What do u guys think? Is the risk something the game needs and we like? Or is it an improvement to level the playingfield ?

I think the person doing Free Agency should not be involved with the game.
I do however think this F/A went better than the last two.

Good Job to the guys doing F/A, I thought it went solid, and not just because I got who I wanted. I had to over pay for my guys, but when you don't get who you want, I see why you would get upset.

Damn Lakeshow I know your upset about FA, but you didn't have to shut down the site.

Raptors still have almost 16mil in cap space if anyone is trying to clear some guys. We are still planning to be a player in FA, but want to give everyone the opportunity to dump some salary (Actually good players, don't want overpaid crap) for some youth or picks.

Exactly. There is only one of these players, so odds are you're not going to get them. That's a reason why I HATE dabbling in FA. Done it twice, and got burned once.

This is at least the second time he's quit after missing out on free agency. One time, I can understand but two (or more) times is ridiculous. He's screwing over everyone whose actually worked hard in this game.
