K.

I guess we'll wait until tomorrow then since there isn't a great deal of interest.

A few people expressed concerns about the 4 EST start, so I'll push it back to 6EST tomorrow.

I think we could probably do two rounds on Saturday. Either way, we'll be done by the end of the weekend.

I don't see the urgency to get more than one round done a day.

We'll likely be finished all told in just over a week, which I think is pretty solid.

If you are going to do rounds on Saturday, can you please post the times?

^Yes. It will be 6 EST like yesterday, in the interest of consistency.

We will give addict until moments before the 6pm cutoff to make a pick, then one will be chosen for him and round 8 will begin.

Glad Bryant took Brandon . . . He is one of my favorite players and to my mind, has been the BPA for the last two rounds other than maybe Glen Robinson who was a great pickup by Warspite . . . I seriously considered both but they didn't fit my system and needs unfortunately.

Agreed. TB is one of my all-time favorites. The "Terrell Brandon Barber Shop" is blocks from my house. Benson alum FTW!

Love Brandon as well. His stats dont do him justice playing on the slowest pace team not only in the NBA but the history of the NBA.

Well, at least I can say with comfort that I will never consider addict for a spot in one of these games again, and I advise everyone else to take that same position.

Technically I'm supposed to autopick for him again, but am frankly considering just letting it go until the end given how tired I am of dealing with that.

Rolled the dice my top wing would still be there if I picked up Jayson Williams because centers of that effectiveness are thin on the ground. Fortunately, not only was my top guy still there, but my #2 and #4 guys too . . . now to see if they slip another round :)

Anyone know more about Walt Williams? I've seen some clips and read up a bit on him, all I know is he was a pretty good offensive player who was a more perimeter oriented SF. The stats were impressive, so that was my main justification in taking him.

Walt Williams was a really flashy ballhandler and shooter; nicknamed "The Wizard" from U of MD. His pro career was actually quite disappointing to me. I thought he'd be better and booed the Wizards for selecting Tom Gugliotta instead (I was, of course, dead wrong). He didn't play much defense and was a bit too playground for his coaches -- he was a solid scorer but it was his passing and ballhandling that were his signature.

Sorry I lost track of the draft order. I thought it was changed to something free for all. I dont have much time monitoring all post on real time basis and prefers draft order with same time limit for each pick.

The auto-pick is fine with me if you still want me to continue.

You've got another pick this round you can make right now if you like.

Considered a poor mans Magic coming out of college but he never realy did much. I dont recall his defense beng much but later he became a great 3pt shooter. I believe Walt was on the Dream Team select and played as Grant Hills backup and was torched by Mullin/Drexler. Like most players that played for the kings he could have been better with a good PG or vet leadership but never was able to overcome. He was awsome at U of Maryland though.

We should have autopicked J.R. Rider, Roy Tarpley, and Derrick Coleman for Addict . . . then make him show up for practice. Still can add Chris Morris :)
