Its not real money, so realism is essentially impossible.

Free agents will always be grossly overpaid in these games (other than true max-type free agents) for that simple reason. The incentives real teams have not to spend every penny available to them don't exist here.

One of the reasons I will never play in one of these games again.

I agree its quite annoying. I wound up overpaying for Dalembert last time because big men are always overpaid in these games. But giving Jason Thompson 72 million. Really? WTF. I think I am going to match that offer just out of spite. I don't think I'll be doing another one of these games either but for more than just this ridiculous overspending on free agents. For example, I think Restricted Free Agency has basically been used to blackmail teams into giving up real value for players that want to leave. Its blackmail.

The contract is worth 28 mil over 4 yrs. The breakdown of the contract is:
7million
7million
7million
7million (team option)

Ryan's former team has 48 hours to match.

Denver matches. We love Ryan's range, and what he brings to our offense. Coming off the bench behind Jared Sullinger, he will be our 6th man.

And the Kings are delighted to match that offer sheet since its much more reasonable than the one given to Jason Thompson. Welcome back Hickson.

JASON THOMPSON ACCEPTS PISTONS OFFER
The Pistons announced that Jason Thompson has accepted their offer - 5 Years for $70,399,212. The deal will pay Thompson $12,000,000 in 2012 with 8% raises each year -
$ 12,960,000 ’13; $13,996,800 ’14; $15,116,544 ’15; $ 16,325,828 in 2016.
There will be an ETO for Thompson after the 2014 season.

Jason was our primary post target going into this off season as we have demonstrated with this offer.

The Kings will not match this silly offer. Apparently Jason Thompson was elected to a few NBA All Star games and the Detroit GM was the only person kept in the loop on it. But he got his game. Congrats.

We are happy to get a PG of Westbrook's caliber, and we believe he and Griffin will make an amazing duo both now and in the future.

The Chicago BUlls are happy to match.

Washington Wizards and Semih Erden have agreed on a contract. Cheap quality backup C that still has some potential.

Year 1 - $1,500,000
Year 2 - $1,675,978

Total: $3,175,978

The Cleveland Cavaliers resign Anthony Randolph to a modest contract with the flexibility to sign him long term if he "gets it" in the next 3~4 years:

4 000 000
4 400 000
4 800 000 (TO)
5 200 000 (TO)

Reading all the signings in this place, i feel happy with the contract Randolph agreed to sign. AR knows he needs somethings to work on, and we hope that this contract will motivate him to work harder and become a better player for us. IF he feels like he's not being paid market value, then he needs to prove himself in the next 3~4 years before we sign him to a contract that will secure his, and by extension his families', long term future.

guys I will repost later tonight all the unsigned RFAs status. Some guys are seriously considering the 1 year QO and becoming a RFA next season. Players are very disappointed in the fact that their previous teams have not even made offers to lock them up long term

* side note since I have the RFA rites to Robin Lopez, someone else needs to take his offers, can someone please step up and do so!

Roc needs to decide who will represent the tier 3 and 4 FAs since he is not interested in doing so. PLEASE stop sending me offers for these guys, I have responded to all offers telling each GM that I only handle RFAs. Roc need to announce this so the game can advance
