Can we at least get a response to e-mails sent? A "hell no" is better than nothing at all. I've sent at least a dozen e-mails that haven't gotten a response. Thanks.

Starters: Rubio/Sessions/Dudley/Love/Bogut

Partial Guarantee: Martell Webster / Daniel Gibson
Exp: Jermaine O'Neal,Carlos Delfino, Anthony Tolliver
Rookies: Luke Babbitt, Malcolm Lee, Nolan Smith, Larry Sanders

1) Starters require a heavy price
2) Partial guarantees are very available
3) Will only move exp for exp unless it's a player i really like. If anyone lack salaries and need to trade expirings to make it work, just ask me, i'll be happy to facilitate with JO and Delfino.
4) Rookies can be had. Babbitt for any 2nd. Rest for better fits.

I am making it possible to sign FAs that still don't have homes from 2011 FA. Go to this link for more info:
viewtopic.php?f=340&t=1148162

The players in the 1st list are not available to be bid on. They are either a special case player (SC) or they are better than the rest of the group, and all 5 of them will go to 2012 UFA.

The players in the 2nd list are available to be bid on. You can only sign 1 player in a 24 hour period. You also have to wait 24 hours before you get him, because someone can overbid you. Once you have top bid for 24 hours, the player is yours. The minimum bid is 1 year, vet min. The max you can offer is 4 years, with 4.5 percent raises, or 5 years, 7.5 percent for Bird players, if you hold their rights.

The vet min is $854,389, limit of 1 year for this FA. Other bids can be greater in value and length.

SF: Marquis Daniels
PF: Kevin Garnett / Channing Frye / JaJuan Johnson

C - Andrew Bynum
PF - Pau Gasol / Josh McRoberts / Troy Murphy
SF - Devin Ebanks / Metta World Peace / Matt Barnes / Jason Kapono
SG - Kobe Bryant / Kirk Hinrich / Andrew Goudelock
PG - D.J. Augustin / Steve Blake / Darius Morris / Derek Fisher

Liking what I have so far. I have about 17.5M in expiring contracts, looking to further improve the roster. Willing to spend. Mainly looking for a good SF. If I could include World Peace, Blake, or Fisher in any deal that'd be good also. I really don't mind ending the game with Augustin, Kobe, Gasol, Bynum as my core, but all of them are available nonetheless.

Does anyone have a source saying that you can't amnesty a player you trade for? The reason I'm questioning it is because I would never think you could, but I saw something saying that teams could, so it stuck in my memory.

its an NBA rule, plus a rule you listed in the opening thread for the game. not sure the CBA has been officially linked yet, but will look. but I am 110% guaranteed that is the NBA rule, and like I said it was listed as one of your rules for the game in the opening thread

I know that the player had to have the contract signed when the CBA was (so you couldnt sign someone, then use amnesty after the new contract) but I was very sure you could amnesty traded players.

Amnesty will not be available until around draft time (written in schedule). Any team that has not used it this year in eligible to use it next year. Teams can only use it on players that had a contract when the CBA was signed. The Amnesty completely takes the players contract off of your salary cap.

No where does it say that I made that rule.

I was wondering this too:

In addition, Lowe reports that teams cannot trade for a player, then use the amnesty clause on them. Finally, teams cannot use the new stretch provision, which extends the years on a player's cap hit while making each of those years less taxing, on players they claim through the clause.

http://www.sbnation.com/2011-nba-free-a ... sty-clause

Just pulled this up, not sure how accurate it is though. The only thing I could find.

I guess we can't amnesty traded players. :(
