Tier 5:

There will be a bidding process. Any team can claim a player for any amount, and if they are the last to post about that player, and have the highest bid, then 24 hours later that player signs with the team that claimed him. Any team can offer more than the team before if they still have cap/MLE/mMLE. Teams can only sign a max of 3 players in 24 hours.

Please bid in the 2012 Free Agency thread, and once they have signed, post the official signing in the FA signings thread.
Thanks.

MIN signs Arenas

2.5m/yr for 3 years.

We believe he has outgrown his guns phase and can only be a good mentor from now on. He did well behind Wall at WAS and did well beside/behind Jameer at Orlando, so playing behind/with Rubio shouldnt be too much for agent zero.

The Wizards are pleased to announce the signing of Boris Diaw to a two-year, $5m contract.

2,500,000
2,500,000 (Player Option)

Boris is a very versatile veteran who can play multiple positions. He can do a variety of things to help the team, and he'll be very useful depth off the bench,

Part of the vet min is paid by the league. $854,389 is what you pay.

So do I have Fields? Bc no ones offered that contract

Earl Clark goes to GSW. He'll get $854,389 and that will be it, he'll be free again.

The Wizards are pleased to announce the signings of T.J. Ford and Hasheem Thabeet to one-year minimum contracts.

Thabeet's a young guy who still has potential to improve, while T.J. Ford gives us a good veteran PG off the bench.

Denver announces the signing of SF Josh Howard for one year @ the vet min. We think he'll enjoy the light air and the lax laws in the great state of Colorado.

Minnesota signs Kwame Brown(2 years) and Bojan Bogdanovic(3 years) for 1.5m per year.

We like Kwame as a capable backup C while Bojan is a good prospect wing to have.

Atlanta Hawks have signed Rudy Fernandez to an offer sheet of $16.72m over 4 years (starting at $4m). Whoever owns his rights has 48 hours to match.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.
