Memphis Accepts after hours of negotiation, we lose conley and a 1st rounder but Crawford and Babitt will make our bench one of the best in the game, this deal gives us a great starting cast and great deph. And we just barley avoid the lux tax

Los Angeles Lakers Receive:
SF Shawn Marion (8,022,449)
2012 2nd Round Pick (returned)

Dallas Mavericks Receive:
PG Darius Morris (473,604)
SF Metta World Peace (6,790,640)

Lakers accept.

MWP is absolutely useless in real life with the Lakers as he can't shoot and he can't defend the more athletic small forwards. We get a much better SF in Marion all at the exchange of giving up Morris and getting our second round pick back.

Mavericks accept.

We like MWP toughness + craziness. Can play a similar role that Stevenson played on the title team.

Also like Morris's potential as a backup PG

Kings Trade:

Marcus Thornton (7,000,000)
Jason Thompson (3,001,284)
Tyler Honeycutt (775,000)
Hassan Whiteside (762,195)

Total: $11,363,760

Hornets Trade:

Jarrett Jack (5,000,000)
Trevor Ariza (6,790,640)

Total: $12,010,640

Kings make this trade with the intention of moving Evans to his natural 2guard position. Getting a battle tested vet pg in Jack is a huge plus, as is a former champion in Ariza who provides a big talent upgrade at the small forward position.

Accept. Overall we get younger and save some money. Thornton doesn't really fill a need, but we like the value here.

#39 Minnesota and Utah have a trade:

Minnesota sends: J.J. Barea($4,300,000)

Utah sends:
C.J. Miles($3,700,000) + Jeremy Evans($762,195) = $4,462,195

salaries are close enough.lol

Minnesota accepts. Barea is a nice change of pace PG who is pesky on d and gets to the rim at will, but he was our 3rd PG. Miles is an okay SF for the time being who expires, and Evans can jump out of the gym.

Utah is glad to accept...Acquiring JJ solidifies our back up point situation.

The Pistons and Nets have agreed upon a deal.

Pistons Receive
Anthony Morrow ($4,000,000)
Lazar Hayward ($1,097,520)
2013 NJN 1st

Total: $5,097,520

Nets Receive
Jonas Jerebko ($4,500,000)

Total: $4,500,000

Nets also receive 1m in cash w/ this deal.

Deal Works.

Pistons accept, we feel Lazar has the potential to become the next Spencer Haywood.

We really hate giving up Morrow in this deal, but Jerebko's a great athlete/defender and all-around utility player who's playing well, and is exactly the type of player we want next to Deron/Harden. He's also on a cheap long-term deal and is only 24.

#41 Minnesota and Detroit have a trade:

Minnesota sends: Tiago Splitter($3,672,000) + Jon Brockman($1,000,000) + 2013 OKC 2nd = $4,672,000

Detroit sends: Anthony Morrow($4,000,000) + Vernon Macklin($473,604) + 2013 NJN 1st + 2015 Detroit 2nd = $4,473,604

Minnesota will also send $3m in cash considerations.

Minnesota accepts. We like how Splitter has progressed this year but he is more of a center then a 4/5. Morrow brings maybe the best three point shooter in the league and will really help our spacing. He should get a ton of easy looks with Rubio.

Phoenix Trades

Steve Nash - $11,689,062
Grant Hill - $6,500,000
Total = $18,189,062

*The deal works as Indiana have $16.2m cap space. This takes our total salary to $57,742,688

Why for Indiana? Nash is a great short term upgrade, adding a much needed 'All Star' talent to draw fans and give this team more hope in the playoffs. He's a loyal guy too, so hopefully he'll hang around.

Sorry for the delay. Phoenix accepts, time to give Nash and Hill a run with a team who deserves him, save some cash and get some nice pieces for the future.

trade #43
NY and Philly make a deal

Philly trades
LaVoy Allen $473,604

NY trades
Jefferies $854,389

both are min guys so it works
NY does this simply cause we love LaVoy! add to that my personal dislike for Jefferies (and his brother in law) so had to do it. Hopefull LaVy can keep his college apartment on Broad like he is this season and make the short drive up to NY! Welcome to the Big Apple big fella

Jefferies is a good defender and rebounder. He has no offensive game but that's ok.

1. reworked deal works within rules, way to be creative ICE (must of had help :) )
2. trade needs to still be accepted by Miami since players are slightly different
3. Miami when checking your roster i noticed that you need to
a. total up your salary (hint: pretrade with correct things listed it should be $77,261,861)
b. you have no picks, cash, or TPes listed so you must be forfitting them
c. You need to list the players that are being paid but not on roster
(hint: P.Beverly $788,872 cap hit in 2012, House $1,352,181 cap hit in 2012, J.Jones cap hits in 2012 ($1,650,667 and 2013 $1,757,161 from his old deal that he was bought out of beforee he resigned)

all these are needed since you are getting close to the max cap and these cap hits effect that

Once those things are all done, trade will be approved
