The Detroit Pistons were busy the second day of FA. They signed four RFAs to deals. Those four RFAS have signed an offer sheet worth 42 million over 4 years with the 4th being a PO (10.5 million a year).
The structure is the following:
Year 1 - 9.9 M
Year 2 - 10.3 M
Year 3 - 10.7 M
Year 4 - 11.1 M (PO)

The four players are Joe Ingles, Nikola Mirotic, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Tim Hardaway Jr. All four guys are happy to sign the offer letters and join the Pistons.

The Bulls match the offer for Niko Mirotic.

Toronto Raptors have come to a deal with Andrew Bogut. The deal is worth 25.5 million over 4 years (6.375 million a year). He is able to have a starting spot and is liking how the Raptors are being built and ran.

We got our defensive anchor relatively inexpensive in this free flowing spending era.

Doesn't appear that a qualifying offer was ever extended to Nerlens Noel...

This is what it says on 1st PG FA

Please state if you waive you exercise Team Options and offer the QO! If you don't state that you do not exercise the team option, it will be automatically exercised. The same applies for unguaranteed contracts (waive them BEFORE FA)

Yes it's more of a formality to make sure people are updating their rosters. It's all good.

IT WOULD BE MUCH MORE CONVINCING IF THE GM POSTED THE CAP HOLD AND NOT THE QUALIFYING OFFER FOR RFA THEY INTENDED TO MATCH. HOW MANY GAMES DO WE PLAY UNTIL GUYS FIGURE OUT THAT THE RULES ARE WHAT MAKE THESE GAMES FUN? Noel's Cap Hold was $10,961,225 - Not the QO of $5,848,910.

But let's not require guys to learn the rules.

I won't be offended if you just correct me/guide me in the right direction. I'm not as well-versed in the CBA as most of the GMs here, I rest my hat on X's and O's. I was hoping to use this league as a way to brush up on the business end of things.

These are supposed to be fun. You really need to relax on people if you want new people to give this a try and considering we don't ever get 30 people, I think it is probably best to point out these roster issues to people in a PM and help them fix the roster page instead of blast them and try to take advantage of loopholes.
