16.5 fg left for my last guy. I usually barely have that for my entire bench when I used to play haha

You can put together a very solid bench with that.
I've got a bunch of FGAs myself and not really sure what to spend them on...

I am much much tighter for FGA. Shaq is expensive.

Looks like this thing is pretty loaded - did you consider allowing just the season a player won MVP and his teammates? That might need a longer time frame, or maybe for a future game.

I already have Thabo!
Intentions never mattered if they weren't accompanied by effort. Trying mattered, even when it didn’t work.

It is a good indication of a shallow/challenging pool. Notice you can use Philly Iggy

Dallas seasons aren’t in 2000s.
2008-09 is eligible.
In a pool this restricted though, I would stick with prime Kidd and focus on adding shooting elsewhere.
It doesn't seem that restricted to me. All the choices are pretty familiar names and everyone has a nice one-two. No reaches or names we don't see a lot.

Shouldn’t be I’ll screw it up somehow. Been going through rosters all day and still can’t come up with anyone worthwhile

Re: MVP Franchise Decades Draft - Discussion
Surprised Cliffy was left on the board. 6'10'' swing, all-defensive 2nd team in 2000, ranked 8th in the DPOY voting, averaged 37% from 3 on 4.1 attempts per game. Can do a little bit of everything. Zero exploitable weaknesses in his game. Had I known he'd end up undrafted, I wouldn't have drafted Bosh in round 3.
Philly Horford wasn't drafted either. Weird season, but I'd still consider him a starting-calibre 2-way stretch big. Not his fault he was misused alongside Embiid. Was expecting him to fall, but not to remain undrafted. Kinda have buyer's remorse on Embiid. I might have been better off with Giannis, Horford and a different 3rd rounder instead of Bosh.
Personally, I really like restricted pools. The games become very unpredictable!

I didn’t think of Horford till after I took Gibson. Was surprised he was still there.

Conceptually, I like Cliffy's game a lot and used to draft him all the time. The problem is, his offensive efficiency collapses to a comical degree almost every playoffs, and it isn't that high to begin with. It's not like he's super cheap either. Even with my Jokic savings, I wasn't spending 14 FGAs on a guy I can't rely on as a 3rd/4th option.

This pool wasn't that restricted. I'm not seeing many starters we don't see at least time to time in other games. It's lighter than a fully loaded draft, though.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
