In a normal draft I'd agree. I'm not sure the saved FGA carries the same value as it normally would- the teams in this one will be semi-realistic and it's not really as possible to stretch your FGA into so many elite players. And I do think the Ewing of the first half of the 90s was materially better.
That's fair, but for me personally, for guys that have a sustained prime, I think its smartest to choose the lower usage version if you are combining them with other big names like we typically do in these games. For my part as a judge, I wouldn't place a any meaningful emphasis on a year in which he had better win shares because he got more touches. And for Ewing, there were incremental changes in his game over the years, but he was instant impact from the draft and sort of steadily hovered from there in my view. Not many peaks and valleys in his resume
