But I’m not.

Are we the only team?

Cade was picked.

Ahh. Missed that.

I’m hoping he proves worthy of that extension. He’s certainly being paid like someone who should be drafted here. I think he’s worth taking a flyer on given FGA aren’t restricted here.

In a FGA restricted setting I doubt anyone touches him.

No FGA restriction?

Nope, would be a tough rule to impose for a prediction game.

Weird draft cause we have to wait one whole season till we get feedback on our teams. Three regrets on my part:

Should have drafted Kawhi over George in round 3. While Kawhi is more injury prone, he has considerable higher ceiling. It's not like George is an iron man either. The Sixers have announced they will be resting him in back to backs.

I'm an idiot for passing up Myles Turner. My only legit Center is Porzingis. That's a massive risk, but I didn't like any of my other options. Plan B is using Giannis exclusively at Center and grabbing the best available rim runner in January to eat the backup minutes. I should have plenty of serviceable options.

Seriously considered SGA over Giannis in round 1. In a vacuum, I think SGA is a better pick, but he plays at the deepest position in the draft. Had I known KD would have been available in round 2, I would have definitely drafted SGA. Using 36-year-old KD at SF isn't exactly optimal, which is part of the reason I'm inclined to move Giannis at Center.

PG: Lillard (36) / Jrue (12)
SG: Jrue (24) / DDV / Dort / Thomas (drop 1 of them)
SF: George (36) / Durant (10)
PF: Durant (26) / Giannis (22) / Isaac (probably drop)
C: Giannis (16) / Porzingis (32)

Team feels a bit too old. Four starters are on the wrong side of 30. Hopefully, they'll continue playing at a high level. I guess I trust them more than the upcoming players. Giannis turns 30 in December.

Looks like Portland ended being the only team without a player selected.

Heavily considered both Grant and Avdija. But Clingan might actually turn out like the best center of the draft rather than Edey

I tried to avoid run-of-the-mill "good" players on no-hoper teams. Hard to stand out on that kind of team unless you're a fringe All-Star and/or a young talent having a major breakout.

Rookie point guards who are entrusted to lead a struggling team are often statistically abominable. Kemba Walkers rookie season was epically bad as another example

Honestly have had Orlando in my top 4 teams in the east all offseason, kid is looking reallly good. Team is looking really good. Pope is a great add for them low key too.

I dont love their center position and thought they should have pushed hard for hartenstein, but they are looking solid

PG: Suggs - defender, might have his 3 pointer figured out? - Jrue holiday light?
SG: KCP - Defender,3pt shooter, moves the ball - DWhite light?
SF: Wagner - Strong, scorer, shooter, gives steals - Brown super light?
PF: Banchero - top 20 player? - Tatum light
C: WCjr - defense, 3pt shooting - Horford light?

If Sengun can sustain 25/18/5/4 I think I’ve got a good team
