Great picks wack!

Thanks man. I really like having my core solidified now and then just filling in some gaps the remaining two rounds. Don't need to hope for specific talent to fall.

Tatum/Iggy and Kidd/Edwards were the others I considered. They overlapped positionally with people I'd already taken though. Figured getting 2 All NBA guys was worthwhile here. 99-00 or 00-01 Robinson is still peak on defense and perfectly viable as a third option offensively.

Jrue Horford and KCP/KD.

Are there any other pairs that have been taken so far that can be used in more than one way (not that I have any intention of using Phoenix KD).

I believe LR got it in time. DB's clock does expire before the clock stops. Just by a hair. Hopefully he (or whoever he left his list with) shows up.

I have his list, but I'm giving him an hour as he requested.

Yep. Definitely familiar with that process.

That was the last pair remaining on durantbird's monster list.

I think it's a pretty great one actually.

Feeling a bit better about my choice take Brunson/Robinson. The center position was never the strongest in this pool and it looks like waiting on a point guard would have been a disaster too.

My issue is I dont know what of each to use!

I am not down on Philly horford like some people are, his shooting was down a bit, but I entirely blame that on the system and not him

But Philly Jrue was also a great player, an allstar who was still a do it all defender

I am leaning Boston Horford and Philly Jrue, but I might flip the other way as it does save about 6 FGA

Damn there are some good teams. I think I like Ness the best so far. With Draymond and Kobe, do you need a pure point guard?

Is Philly PJ a bargain on a level with a popular Suns reserve guard? Though backup point may be a little stickier to fill.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Given he had good years after I view Philly as just being a bad fit personally. He never got back to the levels of his first Celtic stint though.

17-18 Horford is the best player in any of the choices. I’d do that unless you’ve got serious plans for those FGA.

Its probably what I am doing, as I dont really see any use for the FGA savings as all of the higher FGA cost players are gone.

That version of Tucker is a nice bench piece. If you need start PJ Tucker, I’d only go Rockets (not available though).

Yeah I figured the same thing - I got Kobe and Dray - no PG needed really. Only Steph, Kyrie, Luka, Nash (I guess Kidd, Brunson, Jrue) as true legit killers. Kobe can and has defended them all.

Good luck have a PG guarding Kobe though

I think picking bottom round 3 instead of top round 3 will hurt
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I still like your team either the most or near the top for sure. I will say Kidd can do a respectable job on Kobe, as can Jrue. The rest would be rough.

On the flip side, don't know that I love Kobe guarding most of those guys for the majority of the game. Steph and Nash stand out in particular with all of their movement around the court. Kobe can do a respectable job on Luka, Kidd, and Jrue, though. Not 100% sure either way about Kyrie and Brunson. Ultimately don't think it'd be enough of a detriment against your team to truly impact your success though, think there are bigger holes that other teams have to cover for.

And to be fair, I'm assuming most teams won't have their PG on Kobe, they'll have their best wing defender on Kobe and make adjustments from there. Like Snake would put KCP on Kobe and live with Brunson on Ray.
