Golden State confirms. We felt that too many people were using the term "blockbuster" too loosely, and that we needed to show everyone what a true blockbuster is like.

Something for teams looking for extra capspace to sign that special player to keep in mind: Chicago has a 5+m TPE we would move for assets during the FA period.

Charlotte has cap space and is willing to do a sign and trade (during the free agency period) with a team for a 2010 expiring and some incentive (either a young player or a pick)

sign n trades aren't going to be something that u can do as if the player is a regular member of your team. it'll be part of the free agency process that will be explained later.

I'll one up both of those offers

Sacramento will be roughly 40 mil under the cap along with having around 7 million dollars in TPE.

Have that big name FA you want to go after? Sacramento will easily be able to take on salary to get you below the cap (15-20 mil) without having to give up a single player.

ALL TRADES MAY ONCE AGAIN COMMENCE.

please use 2009/2010 salaries

all FA's and RFA's are not eligible for trade. FA period will be after the draft.

Detroit and Dallas have come to an agreement.

#6/#60/Detroit 2010 2nd/Toronto 2011 2nd for the rights to Jordan Hill.

Hill should be a real nice fit and is the guy I was targeting. It is worth it for me to send out the extra picks in order not to worry about someone leapfrogging me. Besides I am impatient tonight LOL.

Detroit accepts.

Dallas accepts. The drop of one slot is of no real consequence for us and additional picks are always nice.

The Wizards and Mavs have agreed on a trade

Wizards first (#11)
andray blache $3,000,000
toronto's 09 second (#43)

for

the rights to James Harden. The Mavs are well under the cap so taking on the 3 mil will not be a problem.

While we hate to lose two good young pieces, we are pleased to to add a guy we feel can be a all star caliper shooting guard for the next 12-15 years.

Dallas accepts this deal. Blatche will fill a hole here, and although Harden will be a great player, there is someone we covet at a different position.

We would also like to release Sasha Pavlovic and his unguarenteed contract.

The Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks have agreed to a trade:

New York sends:

Tyrus Thomas- $4,743,598

Dallas sends:

Nathan Jawai- $736,420
#24 pick
#43 pick

We still have the cap room to afford this kind of deal. Tyrus is another player we like at the 4 spot, and with our main draft targets off the board, he is a good choice for us.

posting for the knicks:

I liked Tyrus Thomas but he was redundant with Blake Griffin so I decided to pull the trigger on this deal. I could have held out for a higher pick but decided to go with 2 lesser picks and a prospect I really like in Jawai

New York sends: Eddy Curry, #27

Milwaukee sends: Dan Gadzuric

(I have the cap room to absorb the extra 3 million dollars.

Bucks accept. Similar contract lengths, but to get a guy with more potential plus another pick is worth adding on the extra salary.

"Knicks" (12:51:29 PM): I hate to part with the #27 but I am going to 2010 cap room....I am not saving as much as I would have hoped but not giving up as much as some have asked....plus I think I get a small trade exception from making this deal.

"Knicks" (12:51:41 PM): The Knicks accept their deal with the Bucks

Charlotte and Toronto have a trade to announce; using 2009 salaries

Charlotte out: Jerryd Bayless (2,143,080)

Toronto out: Cole Aldrich (1,859,160)

1,859,160 x 1.25 = 2,323,950>2,143,080 so it works

Charlotte accepts, with Rubio on my team bayless was expendable; we wanted aldrich and we think he'll be a good fit for our team.

Dallas release both Adam Morrison and Devean George, regardless of the one year remaining on their deals.
