Orlando Gets:
West (9,075,000)
Magloire (825,497)
Michael Sweetney(1,200,000)UNG

Dallas Gets:
Wallace (9,500,000)
Jason Smith (1,418,880)
Wilson Chandler(1,255,440)
Kopenen (rites)

New York gets:
Andray Blatche(3,000,000)
Claver (rites)
2011 Tor 2nd

I accept because i've had interest in Wallace for quite a while and i like Smith's potential as Dirk's successor lol, also like Koponen's game and feel he has the ability to make it in the NBA level. Also really wanted Chandler for a long time and glad to finally get him on this team. I view him as Josh Howard's succesor.

Orlando accepts. we have been infactuated for weeks now to get David West. I am a big fan and love his game. I was also very high on both Wallace and Jason Smith, but simply needed to consolidate. This move will free up more minutes for our young wings (Morrow and Thonton) and also would move Murphy to our Big off the bench at PF/C. Smith would have been buried in a numbers game with simply just not enough minutes for him.

Knicks accept, we HATE to lose Chandler, we seriously do and will might regret this, but with the addition of Lee on the wings, he became more expendable - and were in a dire need for a big man. There was no real better options attainable than Blatche, and we like what he brings to the table, he's a solid shot-blocker, runs the floor well, and averaged nearly 10/5 in limited minutes. He's come into this season with a new number and new found attitude due to commitment and hard work. He can develop into a fine player

We also pick up a nice prospect in Claver, and a future pick which can be used for more future purposes. It also maintains the work we've done to acquire max capspace.

Oklahoma city waives Brian Skinner, Joel Anthony and Ian Mahimni.

Oklahoma City and Detroit have agreed to a trade.

Oklahoma sends:

Monta Ellis- $11,000,000

Total: $11,000,000

Detroit sends:

Mike James- $6,466,600
Austin Daye- $1,677,840
DeJuan Summers- $457,588
Derron Washington- $457,588
2010 Detroit 1st Round Pick

Total: $9,059,616

Maths Works; $9,059,616 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $11,424,520 > $11,000,000

OKC accepts. While I was rather happy with Ellis, I also didn't mind shedding his future long term salary, and was a little concerned with the Ellis/Curry press lately.

Detroit Accept. Its hard to see a promising youngster like Daye and a good 1st pick, we feel that adding Ellis was needed in order to put good talent around agent 0.

This trade would result in Detroit going under the roster limit so need to pick up a FA but the trade will be approved.

Detroit - Email me your FA offers and then your good to go.

Utah and Golden State have a trade.

GS in / Utah out:
Deron Williams $13,520,000
David Lee $7,500,000
Jamal Crawford $9,360,000
Rasual Butler $3,945,000
Total $34,325,500

Utah in / GS out:
Devin Harris $8,400,000
Paul Millsap $7,629,932
Luol Deng $10,365,000
Sam Young $824,000
Royal Ivey $825,497
Total $28,044,629

(28,044,629 * 1.25) +100,000 = 35,155,786; trade works

Utah accepts. Obviously a huge risk to trade Williams, and if Deng doesn't bounce back from his bad season that will go down as a bad trade. But I love the starting lineup of Bynum / Millsap / Deng / R. Brewer / Harris - it's got guys who can shoot, slash, score in the post, rebound, and play defense, and every one of them is still young and getting better, but fully established as a successful NBA player. And, although I will get exactly no credit for this in the judging, this trade brings Utah underneath the tax line for 2009-10 (we started at $82M).

yet another RFA that signs for less money then his QO. Foye would have made 4.8 mil next year, if he simply signed his QO. Makes No sense to extend for a pay cut

Manu, Miller, and Foye are happy to get some security for the future. Foye could have gotten more by accepting the QO but wanted a few more years of guaranteed money. He has not lived up to his draft hype so had to settle for less than he would have made if he was any good at the game.

Confirmed. We get a stud in Williams and lose Deng's longterm contract, making it worth giving up Harris and Millsap. A core of DWill/Gay/Lee/Gortat is promising for the future.
