The Detroit Pistons and LA Lakers have agreed to a trade agreement:

Detroit Trade:
Tim Thomas  $1,306,455
Ben Gordon  $10,000,000

LA Trade:
Steve Nash $13,125,000

Math:  11,306,455 * 1.25 + 100K = 14,233,068.75  > $13,125,000

Detroit Accept: Although its hard to let BG Go and take on a much older and on the decline Nash, I think Nash’s experience and abilities will help my roster. Wish Nash joining the fold, Arenas will switch to his more natural SG position where he can be the gunner he is by nature. A Nash-CV Pick and Pop and a Nash-Randolph Pick and Roll would be fun to watch. Nash’s next 2 yrs will also help us groom George Hill to be our PG of the future.

The Detroit Pistons and LA Clippers have a trade to announce:

Detroit Trades:
Brian Skinner  $1,306,455
Adam Morrison $5,257,229
Joe Smith $1,306,455
Detroit 2010 second
LA Lakers 2010 second

LA trades:
Marcus Camby $9,150,000

Math:  7,870,139 * 1.25 + 100K = $9,937,673.75  >  $9,150,000

Detroit Accept: We get a veteran, playoff experience C who will fit along nice in our system as the cleanup guy. The fact that we have good depth in the front court will help Camby play a few less minutes and keep him fresh. We think a roster of Nash-Hill-Areanas-Ellis-Randolph-Jerebko-CV-Turiaf-Camby-McGee can make some noise in the playoffs!

Clippers Accept. Camby has a ridiculous caphold which will affect our plans this offseason if we didn't get rid of him. Getting a value in return wasn't a big issue for us as long as we got expirings in return along with couple of picks here and there.

Well then, no trades between these teams will be allowed as it is too suspect IMO.

Orlando and Miami have a trade

Orlando will send Jamal Magloire back to Miami for a future 2nd (I believe it is the Miami 2011)

Jamal had no spot in our rotation, and Miami really wanted him back. He is a min player so the trade should work, but Miami also has enough TPE's to use if needed

Orlando will be waiving Michael Sweetney and his unguaranteed contract. His comback attempt didn't go so well, and no need to carry a guy that won't play.

SAS and DEN have a trade to announce.

Boris Diaw - $9,000,000
Shannon Brown - $1,990,000

for

Martell Webster.........$4,344,000
Nate Robinson............$3,351,994
Renaldo Balkman.........$2,112,417

We add a 6th of the year candidate in Nate Rob complements Billups and JJ quite nicely and a young Webster who is a good bench player with a ton of upside.

Confirmed.

We get a terrific versatile player we've liked for a while now, who gives some much needed help in a number of areas and can play a bunch of different positions.

Nate Robinson simply wasn't quite a fit for the team and Webster, while a nice young player, was a fair price to pay.

accepted, we get ALOT younger, we get under 100 million with this deal to..... Nash cant gaurd ME to save his life and either can BG, but BG can create his own shot, hit the open shot, and score points in bunches..... Those of you who know basketball knows that the triangle PG only need to play D and hit the open J, so i will be starting D-West, and bring BG off the bench, giving my the best 6th man in this game..... Also all the PG's i will play against will have to cover Gordon the whole game so i will have a lot of 1 on 1's, where Kobe, Duncan and OKur will get single covered. BG might not be the best fit, but hes younger, cheaper, and can create his own shot, nice dealing with you.

Luol Deng $10,365,000
Sam Young $824,000
Royal Ivey $825,497
Total $28,044,629

(28,044,629 * 1.25) +100,000 = 35,155,786; trade works

Utah accepts. Obviously a huge risk to trade Williams, and if Deng doesn't bounce back from his bad season that will go down as a bad trade. But I love the starting lineup of Bynum / Millsap / Deng / R. Brewer / Harris - it's got guys who can shoot, slash, score in the post, rebound, and play defense, and every one of them is still young and getting better, but fully established as a successful NBA player. And, although I will get exactly no credit for this in the judging, this trade brings Utah underneath the tax line for 2009-10 (we started at $82M).

Trade approved - Please update rosters
