Just read the consequences for the Marcus Thornon thing - that's some B.S. It's not a huge punishment, but still. I could just rescind my Hamilton offer...

Obviously it led to some possibly illegal trades. but I was hurt more than helped. I wouldn't have signed Rich Hamilton if I knew I had Thornton.

Depth Chart:

PG: Greivis Vasquez/Myck Kabongo/Cory Joseph
SG: Alexy Schved/Alan Anderson/Stephen Jackson/Gary Neal
SF: Chandler Parsons/Matt Barnes/Caron Butler
PF: Thad Young/James McAdoo
C: Brook Lopez/Lucas Nogueira

SAS 2014 1st
MIL 2014 2nd
DAL 2014 1st
SAS 2015 1st
WAS 2015 1st
UTA 2015 1st
CHI 2015 1st
LAL 2015 1st round pick
ATL 2015 1st round pick (if top 10)
SAS 2016 1st
LAL 2016 1st round pick
OKC 2016 2nd round pick

I'm pretty happy with my roster, but could use some depth. Open to all offers. I want out of Butler as well. BTW if you want picks, I have 11 1sts in the next 3 years... 7 of them are 2015. That's perfect for any rebuilding team.
PG: Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson
SG: Andre Roberson, Anthony Morrow, Jeremy Lamb
SF: Kevin Durant, KJ McDaniels, Perry Jones
PF: Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Robert Covington
Cc: Al Jefferson, Steven Adams, Kendrick Perkins, Mitch McGary

More to play devil's advocate than anything else, but it's your responsibility (not anyone else's) to keep your roster up-to-date and know whose on your roster and who isn't.

Definitely, but is it fair to take him from my roster rather than just allowing me to fix my mistake?

I didn't think it was fair, I haven't agreed w/ alot of decisions made by the Commish BUT as stated you gotta keep up w/ your roster BUT at the same time guys were supposed to have rosters updated before any trade can be approved and that clearly had been thrown out the window.

The thing is the FA domino effect of Thornton being completely missing from your roster possibly caused.

Possibly it didn't cause anything. I think you did a good job, not the worse job keeping roster up to date.

End of the day this GMaT has drones on too long, waiting 24 hrs for Tier 5 FA bidding is completely ridiculous only to have a higher bid placed on the same guy possibly then having to wait yet another 24hrs.

Makes no sense.

I'm typing up writeup and gonna copy n paste that thang when it's due, wake me when we're done.

Some really good teams etc, done submitting offers but you can still hit me up for trades, good luck fellas.

Decent job on 1st gmat Biz, you did your best.

Waiting on you now Karm.

PG:Stephen Curry/Delonte West/Toney Douglas/Nate Wolters
SG:O.J. Mayo/Kyle Singler/Erick Green
SF:Corey Brewer/Martell Webster/Mike Dunleavy
PF:Ed Davis/Jackie Carmichael

Other than the bolded, send me offers, I'm bored.

The following are on the market: Glen Davis Jordan Hill, World Peace, Trevor Booker. Only send me offers for those, unless you want to take one of these and one of my good youngsters and upgrade them.

For those noted above I'm looking for young players with starting line-up potential or picks (give me expiring if you trade pick).

To clarify, do I still have Thorton and must rescind my offer to Rip, or is he now a FA?

I don't even remember what happened...

Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

Looking back, deal 121 is a huge epic blockbuster involving OKC shuffling like 20 pieces and sending Lebron to OKC. Nothing to do with Indiana, however in trade 112, LA sent Indiana Marcus Thornton in a package around Lawson/Gallo, and it doesn't seem he's moved since.

As a result Indiana must forfeit its next five 1st round picks and have its salary cap limited to $4M and the franchise must forfeit all records ever.

We'll make Thornton a free agent and make Indiana forfeit your 2014 1st round pick for inadequate bookkeeping (because it did lead to illegal signings, you shouldn't have had cap space to sign some players- it's only fair).

Thornton would be a tier 3 or 4 free agent, so bidding starts at $2.5M. GO

That should answer your question, AGAIN, jake. You screwed up, take it like a man.

I'd like to trade Glen Davis for an expiring + 1st round pick (or promising talented young player from 2011/12/13 draft, with starting line-up potential). And Jordan Hill for an expiring + late 1st round pick or early 2nd rounder.
