LAC and OKC have a trade to announce.

LAC sends:

Baron Davis - $13,000,000
Chris Kaman - $11,300,000
Steve Novak - $1,030,189
2010 1st (8#)

OKC sends:

Nick Collison - $6,750,000
Nenad Krstic - $5,543,116
James Harden - $4,304,520
Russell Westbrook - $4,017,720

We get our franchise PG (16/8/5, elite defense, 21yrs old) to add to our core and a piece in Harden we like a lot. DeAndre Jordon will get the start with the vet Krstic backing him up. We give up a lot but feel this deal is worth it long term.

this is the real trade. I work this weekend, so i wanted to accept because i wont be on the computer for a couple days.

OKC outgoing / LAC incomming:

Russell Westbrook $4,017,720
James Harden $4,304,520
Nenard Kristic $5,543,116
Nick Collison $6,750,000
Totals: $ 20,615,356

LAC outgoing / OKC incomming:

Baron Davis $13,000,000
Chris Kaman $11,300,000
8th overall pick, unless something changes with draft.
Totals : $24,300,000

Deal works with 125% rule, and works due to OKC being under the cap.

(same deal just no novak.)

I accept. You have to look at the deal like this: Kaman for Westbrook, Harden for the 8th pick, and BD for Collison/Kristic. First I'd like to say Centers are hard to come by. 2nd I'd like to say that i hate Harden. We get our new franchise center for our franchise PG. We hated seeing the Lakers drill us in the post during our first playoff series. We feel that Kaman along with the 8th pick makes us better overall. We only give up 2 assests, to get 2 assets, and still get our big. Other deals we pursued, involved giving up alot more for a big. Sure Baron Davis is on a big deal, but hes still a top 10-12 PG. Overall, we like this deal and thats all that matter.

The Dallas Mavericks and I have planned a S&T deal that will send John Salmons to Dallas and Jason Terry to the Bucks, the trade will be finalized when the free agency period begins

Milwaukee Gets:
Jason Terry-$10,650,000

2010 OKC 2nd-50th pick

How is Salmon's signing a new deal before he opts out of his old deal or before Free Agency starts?

The Pacers and Wizards have agreed to a deal.

Wizards send/Pacers receive:
Gilbert Areanas $17,730,693

Pacers Send/Wizards receive:
Mike Dunleavy $10,561,984
T.J. Ford $8,500,000

17 x 1.25 = 21.25 > 19.06

Pacers agree. Gilbert is similar in age to Granger and gives us the edge to make it over the playoff hump. I know about all his problems in the past two seasons but he can still be that 20 and 6 type of guy we are looking for.

Portland Trailblazers and Orlando Magic have agreed to a blockbuster trade.

Portland Sends

C - Greg Oden - $6,760,524
C - Joel Przybilla - £7,405,300
SG - Brandon Roy - $6,760,250 for BYC outgoing purposes; $13,520,500 for Orlando incoming purposes
SG - Rudy Fernandez - $1,246,680

Total Outgoing = $22,172,754 (BYC) / $28,933,004 actual salary

Orlando Trades:

C - Dwight Howard - $16,647,180
PF - Brandon Bass - $4,000,000
SG - Mikael Pietrus - $5,300,000

Total Outgoing = $25,947,180

Due to Roy's BYC status, maximum incoming to Portland is $22,172,754 x 1.25 + $100,000 = $27,815,943 - the deal works

Orlando Maximum incoming is $25,947,180 * 1.25 + $100,000 = $32,533,975 - the deal works.

Portland accepts this trade.

Reasoning: I love Dwight Howard. It sucks giving up our franchise player in Roy, and our potential franchise player in Oden, but Dwight gives me the centrepiece to build around to compete in the West. Rudy is unhappy in Portland, and Pryz won't see much time behind Dwight and Camby; whilst Pietrus and Bass provide cover in positions of need.

Edit: This trade will be completed once Przybilla confirms his player option for 2011; following the draft. This (IRL) is 99.9% certain to happen and I trust that choice will be honoured in the game.

Orlando confirms.

Many might hate me for trading one of the players with the highest value around, but I do like the idea of adding 2 studs for 1 superstud. Take Oden for example. Since injuries are off, I really dig him as a replacement for Dwight and love his potential. Always been a homer of him. I also get another close to untouchable piece in Brandon Roy. I also tend to get ALOT of offers for Marcin Gortat, so I decided to take Pryz, who will soon back up Oden. I also like Rudy here to make JJ Redick more expandable. My GM style is usually trade and trade until I get bored so I'm confident I can deal with moving VC as well. I really think it's nice for both teams. Good trading homie.

The Bucks in real life are planning Salmons to opt out.

While that may be true we still can't post the S&T deal until Free Agency begins which is in a while.

Wizards accept. We are looking towards 2011 free agency in our rebuilding efforts, so two expiring contracts will help us with that goal.

Email the guy - don't post offers here, unless you want people to beat your offers.
