I see someone came up with this idea in a recent thread! I think it's a great idea... Personally I don't have the time or patients to commish such a game but if we could get enough willing players and a commish I think it would be a fun game! I no some people would love to commish a game like this so I'm putting out the call!

I would be willing to participate in a game such as this.
This would eliminate teams like Lakers / Heat from winning the "win now" category in the future.

I'm interested to see how you'd incorporate salaries into it.
Tentatively put my name down for Indiana.

Teddy,
Are you sure it was your idea? I'm fairly sure I'm mentioned it also.
I got Portland.

it has been mentioned several times, not sure who posted it first. Anyways I would suggest using a 69 million HARD CAP for the Draft, after that teams will lose points if they go over the tax line as they all started below it? Maybe even lower the tax cap to like 60 million and actual salary cap to 50 million.
You lose like 1 point for every million you are over the cap and 2 for every million that you are over the tax? Thinking about that maybe we could put that im the other gm a team somehow.

Why don't we just adhere to the NBA's salary cap and luxury tax? I don't see a need to change it. Some teams, such as Portland, have an owner that don't care at all about having to pay the luxury tax. I don't understand why additional penalty need be enforced.
Also, since we all start on even footing, what's the need to penalize those who pick high-priced players? If the two best players available are Tyreke Evans and Amar'e Stoudemire, why do you have to penalize the person who takes Stoudemire? And you realize that a cap of 50 would mean that (if I'm not mistaken)
every NBA team would be over the cap. How would we even fill out our rosters?
