We wanted to move past the Carmelo Era and really build a better overall team. We thank Mr. Anthony for all that he's done for out franchise and we expect him to have a great future in Chicago.

Chiacgo Accepts, we are reluctant to part ways with Rose, but we are going into win now mode, and a young kid no matter his talent level didnt have the maturity to lead this team in the Stacked East.

A veto was filed for this trade. I tend to agree this is loopsided in favor of Bulls. Billups/1st for Rose is more or less of the same value depending on which you value more, potential or win now. Melo for Deng, Gibson and Asik somehow is not a fair value.

Bringing in Wesley Matthews gives us a very young and talented 2-guard rotation and some of the league's best defense. We love Matthew's shooting, ability to play 3 positions effectively, and most importantly his work ethic. Dante Cunningham is another 2nd year player that we are very excited about. He's got the hustle, the defense, rebounding and a very smooth mid-range shot. We feel that he can grow into a very important player in our rotation in the coming years.

Pistons accept, we hate to lose Prince who has been a mainstay of the Pistons organization, but we're very excited at adding the prospect of one of the better young scorers in the league to go along side Granger and Stuckey on the perimeter.
