SUMMARY:
-I loved how this team turned out, and i managed to bring together the two most dominant players at their position in Kobe, and Howard. I didn't even leave my team totally drained. I still have stuff around them. Randolph for example brings a top notch post game, and next to Dwight he should fit in great with Howard covering most of his defensive mistakes. Thornton who most people probably wouldn't view as a starter, could actually do quite will in his role. At the 3 he would mainly be needed to shoot the ball and help spread the floor for Dwight, Zbo, and Kobe. Bibby won't play as much as a people think, he's mainly there for his experience, and because he has a good jumpshot to spread the floor. Off the bench i have a good core in Chalmers who can play good defense and cover the other teams good PG's that will be his main objective in games. Not to mention we also have Tmac to come in and score for us off the bench, could also start if he's on a roll. Wayne Ellington, and William Buford are just prospects to develop at the SG position. If just one of them can develop to a good enough starter, by learning from Kobe...we'll we would have our succesor to Kobe haha....At the C position we are fairly deep with Ben Wallace, and Gana Diop. Wallace can be good spark off the bench to energize the crowd with his defensive enigma, and to back up Zbo we have my boy Bass who has a nice mid range shot, and hustles harder than anyone else on the floor.
FUTURE:
Our future is on Dwight Howard's broad shoulders...lol he will lead the way for this Portland Franchise in the future..Next to him will be Bass who should develop nicely into a more well rounded player, but unfortunately he will always be undersized. Thornton/Johnson could make a great duo at the SF position both have shown potential to merit the opportunity to be given the chance to lead this club at the SF position. At SG we have Buford, and Ellington both of whom are shooters, with some athleticism in their game and make great future mates for Dwight Howard to pass the ball to for an open 3.At the PG position we have my boy Avery Bradley who plays great position, can shoot the ball with the best of em, but just needs to develop his handling and passing skills to be a capable starter in this league, but his ability to defend, and shoot should keep him in this league for a long time.

Trading Block: At this point I'm looking to go with a win now approach and get some star players and solid depth to put next to Dirk Nowitzki. I'm not really interested in offers for Nowitzki unless you blow me away. I'm somewhat alright with the way my squad looks right now and think that it's super deep and would be able to compete with the best teams but obviously still looking to improve my team. One of Haywood/Yao is likely to be dealt by the end of the game.

SUMMARY:
Our offense will revolve around Dirk, and Yao....Jefferson will have the role of role player...I expect Beaubois to shime in this year, and have a breakthrough season. Davis is not someone i wanted at the PG position, but with Kidd off the bench i guess i won't have to roll with him too long. I prefer the Kidd/Beaubois backcourt....Kidd will defend the 2s, and Beaubois the waterbug 1s. Off the bench we are pretty deep at C incase Yao happens to get injured.Amundson and his hustle can backup Dirk fairly well. And our 6th man Manu will come in with Davis or Kidd off the bench. He'll also be one of our clutch go to guys alongside the best efficient clutch player in the game in Dirk...lol
FUTURE:
The Mavericks future relies upon the aging Dirk, and the french sensation Beaubois, as well as the other frenchie Mahinmi. Beaubois has the abiltiy to score whenever he wants, from any where on the floor. If he can develop his passing game as well as his ability to get through picks defensively he should have a great future ahead of him as the franchise player for this team.Mahinmi is a guy im very fond of because he just hustles to death after the ball. The rebound could be 20ft away but hell just snatch it out of the other guys hand;s in the air, and bring it down to deliver it to the PG. He also has a developing offensive game.
