Invite to join a nation-simulation game

Post#1 » by dockingsched » Fri Oct 22, 2010 3:43 pm

Hey trade game board users,

i'm creating this thread to extend an invitation to all of you to join a nation-simulation game that many realgm users take part in. from this board, miller4ever, snakebites, cellardoor, sambone, bcortell, rocdogg, lukearts, sabasrevenge!, warpite, Garmfay, and myself are long time members. in total we have around 60 realgm users from every fanbase/board on rgm.

here's a description of the game:

SIGN UP LINK

Cyber Nations is the most popular persistent browser-based nation simulation game on the Internet. Create a nation and decide how you will rule your people by choosing a government type, a national religion, tax rate and more. Build your nation by purchasing infrastructure to support your citizens, land to expand your borders, technology to increase your effectiveness, military to defend your interests, and develop national improvements and wonders to build your nation according to your choosing.

our realgm alliance in the game is known as the Basketball Ninjas and we have our own forum. its where all of the talk about the game occurs. If it sounds like something you'd want to learn more about, please register an account at our forum where you can get more information, ask questions, and get your nation started.

http://s4.zetaboards.com/BasketballNinjas/index/

feel free to ask questions here too, and let me know if you registered an account and under what name. accounts have to be approved, so you won't be able to read anything til we know who you are and admin pushes that approve button.

As do I.

Also, you'll receive a warning if you don't join.

Yeah, it's definitely a great community of RGM'ers over at Basketball Ninjas (BN for short), and the Game itself is fun.

I guess the first step I take in this new game is to find some way to get rid of you lol. The Knicks will have more success in this game than they have had in real life damn it.

^'Tis true...we had one of the best Squads in the Alliance: The DG Knights (made up of nearly all Knick fans), it got so big that we had to split it into two separate Squads in the Alliance.. :)

I've done similar things in the past...not sure I have the time to do this now. Maybe once I get some time, then I'll join.

Another interesting site that I have been on about a year is www.conquestofnations.com. It's not with all the taxes, building, nation running things, it's more like the board game Risk, but without chance. It's a diplomacy game, check it out.

Only problem is if you don't like trade board mods you'll have a problem. Snake, Dock and I are all on the gov't :p.

Fun game though. Keeps me entertained at work. Probably a bit too entertained.
