Re: 2011 GM-A-TEAM (TRADES THREAD)
The Milwaukee Bucks and the Denver Nuggets have agreed to a BLOCK BUSTER deal.
Denver outgoing:
Sheldon Williams $854,389
Anthony Carter . $854,389
Melvin Ely $854,389
All players are minimum deal players so the trade works.
Bucks outgoing:
Nothing. Need them to stay in roster limits.
Deal 2:
Denver outgoing:
Carmelo Anthony $17,149,243
Chauncy Billups $13,150,000
Al Harrington $5,765,000
Total: $36,064,243
Mike Redd $18,300,000
Brandon Jennings $2,331,120
Carlos Delfino $3,500,000
Larry Sanders $1,731,960
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute $854,389
Jon Brokman $1,000,000
Keyon Dooling $2,080,000
Total: $29,797,469 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $37,346,836
We cash in ALL our youth and flexibility in the future for an older point guard and a star who wants to leave, along with a bad deal. We know he probably wont stay in Milwaukee but it’s a shot were willing to take. We love Brandon Jennings potential, but with that being said, we really want to try and compete. THis is a crazy trade to start off the game, but in the end its all worth it. Good dealing.

Part 1 doesn't work as Denver drop below 12 players.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Re: 2011 GM-A-TEAM (TRADES THREAD)
Its a 2 part trade. it goes hand in hand.
Either way, i can add one of the minimums into the bigger deal, and it would still work, making him drop to 12 players.

If that is true, then one of the minimum contract players can be included in the larger part of the deal and salaries still work. We're nitpicking, though.

The Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to terms on a trade that will send "Birdman" Chris Anderson to the City of Angels in return for the expiring contract of Sasha Vujacic and high-flying athlete Devin Ebanks.
http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=5724599
Salaries work!
Los Angeles jumped on the opportunity to increase our frontcourt depth. We did not lose any key pieces in this trade and have equipped ourselves even more-so to make another run at a championship.

denver accepts. anderson being 30 didnt fit our young core and his contract isnt the best for as. he is a great character who has done a ton for the nuggets franchise.

if this deal in fact works, the nuggets do in fact accept. watching jennings last season was amazing and this is definetly making the most out of the melo deal. this deal does in fact make ty lawson expendable and we will pursue all options

The raptors and nuggets have agreed upon a deal
to denver:
toronto unprotected pick
miami pick
Amir Johnson $5,000,000 $5,500,000 $6,000,000 $6,500,000 $7,000,000 N/A $30,000,000
Jose Calderon $9,000,000 $9,780,992 $10,561,983 N/A N/A N/A $29,342,975
to toronto:
Kenyon Martin $16,545,454 N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A $16,545,454
J.R. Smith $6,757,851 N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A $6,757,851
the nuggets do this to gain some nice young assets. were currently not caring about cap room as we have plenty of that and we are not free agent players. we get a potentially high pick

I do not believe the trade works that way either. afetr trade #1, both teams need to be within limits, and after trade 2, both teams need to be within limits.
I also assume that if ness plans on openiong this can of worms and getting Melo's rites, he has someone else 100% running Free Agency and will have zero to do with any FA signings. This is going to be a HUGE issue. And if this is not true and ness plans on having Melo and plans on having any input in FA this game is not worth playing

I believe that Ness told me that r0c will be the FA guy, and he won't have Melo so it's a moot point.
And the trade should work the way I proposed. Let me check.

deal fails, MIL has 15 players and would need to waive 3 players before the deal for it to be legal
This also would leave Den with only 11 on roster, which is also illegal

Carmelo Anthony $17,149,243

If the illegal part 1 trade was approved, and Den was forced to sign a player to get to 12
, trading 3 for 7 would leave them at 16 which again is illegal
MIL would still be at 15 after waiving 3 players (eating salary) before part 1, then would be trading 7 and getting 3 which would put them at 11.
THIS DEAL IS ILLEGAL IN EVERY WAY

Sac and LaClipps have agreed to a trade
Sac trades
Landry $3,000,000
Casspi $1,254,480
totals: $4,254,480
Clippers trade
Kaman $11,800,000
Clippers 2012 2nd
Sac has enough cap to take on the extra $7,545,520 salary (Clippers would now have a TPE for this amount)
Sac does this deal because Kaman makes this team much better. we do like Casspi and now have a hole at SF, but getting a legit C that is already signed was worth losing a SF. We want Cousins and Thompson to get all the PF minutes so Landry was movable.

Re: 2011 GM-A-TEAM (TRADES THREAD)
EDIT: SHOOT. I fail again. Disregard this.
I count 15 players for Milwaukee and 12 for Denver, currently.
Here's the steps to make this trade happen:
1. Anderson for Vujacic/Ebanks gets approved, making Denver a 14-man roster.
2. Milwaukee must cut two players (Earl Boykins and Hobson) or leave two of Williams, Carter or Ely out of the trade (would have to be waived by Denver). If they cut Boykins, they have 2 open roster spots. If they do not, they have one spot to take a min salary player.
3. Two players of part A of the trade traded to Milwaukee, or one if there is no cut.
4. Add the remaining min. salary player to part B to Milwaukee. This makes a 6 for 4.
Easiest path - Cut Boykins, trade Ely and Carter, add Williams to the main trade.
Alternate - Cut (Williams, Carter or Ely), trade one of the remaining two, and the third to the main trade.

Re: 2011 GM-A-TEAM (TRADES THREAD)
the Mil/Den trade is the 1st posted so all other deals wait on that.
if trades are in other order, you MUST wait till the others are posted to do it that way. The way the trades are posted are not legal. Plain and simple. If you repost in different order then maybe it would follow the CBA trade rules.
none of the points you made are posted at all in the trade board and if things are contingent or include waiving players, that ALL must be posted
Easiest path is to post legal trades in the order they are made

Okay, here's how it goes.
1. Trade Hobson and Boykins from Mil to Den. Both are min salary and can be traded for nothing.
Roster: Den 15, Mil 13.
2. Trade two of Ely, Williams, Carter to Milwaukee. They are min salary, so it works.
Roster: Den 13, Mil 15.
3. Add the remaining to the main deal. 6 for 4.
Roster: Den 15, Mil 13.
Boykins and Hobson could both potentially be cut and "if they clear waivers" be resigned by Milwaukee if they "really" wanted them. Complicated yes, but this WORKS.

Clippers agree
This gives some cap flexibility to LA as well as opening up the starting position for DeAndre Jordan
Also get a much needed backup PF and Casspi should fit in nice with this core already in place

Re: 2011 GM-A-TEAM (TRADES THREAD)
If that is true, then one of the minimum contract players can be included in the larger part of the deal and salaries still work. We're nitpicking, though.
First of all, I have no part in Free Agency what so ever. Rocdogg is completely running all parts of Free agency. Again, i will have nothing to do with Free agency at all.. And with that being said i will rework the deal with Denver to accomidate the rules and make everyone happy. I have no problem waiving players to make the deal work. Sorry for the inconvienence.

the nuggets do this to gain some nice young assets. were currently not caring about cap room as we have plenty of that and we are not free agent players. we get a potentially high pick
