Kanter is a man. He destroyed everyone at the Nike Hoops Summit, and will likely go top 3 in RL so we get a steal here (we think). We will likely move him so get in your offers.

With the 7th Pick,

Indiana reached for Alec Burks. He has great size for an SG and it'll allow Paul George to switch back to his natural position. With the lack of top potential SG in the draft, Indiana decide we're better off going for an SG at #7 and hoping to fill either SF/C at #15.

The Charlotte Bobcats select PF Donatas Motiejunas out of Lithuania.

Donatas is an extremely talented big man whom we believe could potentially be the next Dirk Nowitzki, who many believe to be among the best players in the game today. We believe that he'll continue to develop defensively as well as he gets coaching from real NBA coaches.

With the 11th pick in the 2011 NBA draft, the Los Angeles Lakers select Kawhi Leonard of San Diego State University.

We're very surprised Leonard slipped this far, since many scouts are saying he could be a top 5 pick now. He's exactly the kind of defensive, rebounding, and energy playing coming off the bench for us.

With the 14th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Houston Rockets select...

Jimmer Fredette out of Brigham Young University.

At #14 of this year's draft, we avoid drafting for need, and take who we feel will hold value for us both on the court and as a trading chip. We just couldn't resist passing up on who many felt was the best player in college basketball this previous season. We see him as a microwave scorer and if he works hard and adapts to the NBA game, will be in contention for 6th man of the year sometime down the road either for us or for another team.

Re: GM-A-TEAM MAY/JUNE '11 DRAFT (#15- Chris Singleton)

Post#16 » by Devilanche » Fri May 20, 2011 2:05 am

Indiana select Chris Singleton out of Florida State with #15 pick. We like his defensive potential and believe that given time and training he can become a servicable offensive option that'll keep offense honest.

The winning mentality helps as well.

With the 17th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Houston Rockets select...

Marcus Morris out of Kansas.

When looking to move Luis Scola, we wanted to acquire a young big with an offensive arsenal to replace him at the power forward position. Luckily, we were able to do that when we acquired the 17th pick with Marcus Morris. Most mock drafts have Marcus somewhere from 1-11, so we feel like we're getting great value here. He is one of the most NBA ready players and will fit in nicely with our young team. He has shown he can hurt you with a variety of moves from the post, hit turnaround fadeaways, and hit jump shots when needed. His motor will make up for some of his poor measurements.

Because of some trade problems, we don't know who has the 18th pick. WAS traded it to GS, who traded it to ATL, but since the WAS/GS deal wasn't valid, we do not know who this belongs to. we will have to wait to see if WAS/GS work out there deal, if they don't this pick is WAS's, if it does, this pick is ATL's.
