Doin' Work GM-A-Team Free Agency

Three types of FA's. The PO's and ETO's that opted out are UFA's, the ones that opted in are not FA's at all. The RFA's are restricted, so if you sign one of them, the team that they are on can match the offer and sign them. UFA's are unrestricted, so whoever signs them, gets them.
All FA's are listed alphabetically.
MLE is 5.8M$
BAE is 2M$ with a max of 2 years
Here are the FA signings. I will also send out a mass email.
If a players signs with you, they signed for the deal that you proposed to me in your email. Once a player signs with you, you can announce it on the FA thread, and post the details of the contract.
Min contract players have not been posted yet, so don't worry. If you need mins to finish your roster, talk to me before you sign them.
Teams with matching rights on players have 24 hours to match the deal on the RFA's.
Any questions, just ask me.

The Denver Nuggets are pleased to announce that they have re-signed Nene to a 6-year deal worth $116,250,000. This year, he will receive $15,500,000, with 10% increases every year after that. Our belief is that the all-South American frontcourt of Nene and Scola will be one of the NBA's best, and combined with an already talented lineup that now includes All-Star guard Joe Johnson, we think this group can compete for a title.

EH? How come Nene already resigned?
Going by my mail with you pretty sure we talked about when can offer be sent, thereafter you send in an offer as you have no more picks in the first round plus a signing pitch. No reply from me thereafter.

Nene had an agent (Crispy), and he accepted my offer. Was I supposed to okay it with you afterwards?

Eh? Crispy not going to listen to other offer? I thought some potential contender has capspace.

That's pretty much a max deal over six years. He wasn't going to get a better deal money wise.

Might get to play with better supporting cast. Money wise true of course. but oh well, his agent decides.
Note: I don't think it has been communicated when the agent will make their final decision.

They've been instructed to take the best offer for their free agents.

Nene chose Denver cause he's basically getting a max offer, Lawson, Johnson, Scola, Nene is a legit playoff team in itself, and Nene's been in DEN his whole career, so the comfortableness is there as well. I thought it was the most logical choice.

A max deal is always a logical choice. It's just that free agency was less than a day started and Nene is one of the better free agent guy. Some of the GMs probably havent even check their mail/team yet.
Would have been better if they still had the mystic/idea that they can get Nene
Note:I didn't see Nene going anywhere else these past few games just that i feel the timing could have been better. In real life, he wouldn't mind signing as soon as possible since it's max but since it is a game and probably not all interested GMs have mailed you yet would have been ok to wait a day or two and give them a read.

New Jersey has the cap space to give Nene a better deal...

NJ could only offer him a 5 year deal (Denver offer is better)
NJ can give 8% increas, Den could give 10% (Denver offer is better)
NJ offer would be about $30mil less, not sure how thats better

NJ could offer something like $18,000,000 per year. That's not what I planned, but I just say that it could be possible...

yes and the deal he signed is still like $15mil more then the MAX deal you could offer starting at $18mil for 5 years. So no you could not give him a bigger contract, even if you wanted to MAX him out.

Yes! in 5 years time he'll be 33. Not very high chance he get offer of $10m + for 1 year.

Carl Landry has decided who he will signed with. Andrei Kirilenko will decide by late tonight. So keep sending in offers for Kirilenko.

Dallas would like to announce that they have re-signed Tyson Chandler to a 6 year $73million deal.
$12,000,000
$12,000,000
$12,000,000
$12,000,000
$12,000,000
$13,000,000
we think this might be a little high for Chandler, but we really can't afford to lose him at this point.
