With the 3rd pick, Utah Jazz select Brandon Knight

I deliberated for ages over this one, it was either Kemba, or Knight (with Kanter being a poor fit). Kemba is the best player right now, but there are questions over his size, in particular his wingspan. Whilst Knight is the least experienced of the duo, he posted great numbers as a freshman and made it as far as the Final Four, his jumpshot is a lot more consistent, he has great size for a point guard, and in the long run I expect him to fill Deron's shoes admirably.

wow, had no clue the draft was starting today.

Philly is thrilled to select Enes Kanter.!

We fell in love with Enes last summer when I watched him tear apart the US select team. It was a shame we did not get to see the projected team at Kentucky this season, but I think this guy has the potential to be the best player in this draft. We are very very pleased with this selection, and thrilled to watch Enes here in Philly!

The 5th Pick in the 2011 Draft was traded from the Toronto Raptors to the Portland Trail Blazers. Unlike prior editions, the Blazers will not be taking a foreign player with potential or a Center which have not worked out in the past.

With the 5th pick the Portland Trail Blazers select Kawhi Leonard -
SF / SDSU: 6-7, 225 lbs, DOB 06/21/1991. Image

With the 6th pick in the NBA Draft the Chicago Bulls select the electric highlight reel

PG Kemba Walker.

Walker and Wall sound like a lawfirm but will prove that speed kills in the NBA. Super athletic at the guard spot and size in the frontcourt will cause havoc on both ends of the court.

For approximately the 300th time in the history of this game, I (Memphis this time, at #7) select Jonas Valanciunas.

With the 8th pick, the Indiana Pacers select Alec Burks, SG, Colorado

The Pacers feel Alec is one of the most underrated players in this years draft. He can flat out score the ball and provides great depth to this Pacer team as a SG/PG. Allowing him to split time at the 2 with the defensive stopper Dahntay Jones should increase his development and make him a force a lot quicker than he would otherwise.

Charlotte has been OTC for a while, so we're autopicking for them. The Bobcats select PF/C Bismack Biyombo. Milwaukee is now on the clock.

With #12, Houston decided to sign Jordan Hamilton out of Texas.

We don't mind his offensive potential and believes he can work enough not to be a liability on the defensive end.

With the 13th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, The Los Angeles Lakers select....

Marshon Brooks out of Providence

Image

-The Lakers are happy to have been able select the player we've wanted to bring in as the future of our franchise. His overall improvement this past season has shown us that the sky is truely the limit for his potential.

Many comparisons have been made to Kobe Bryant, and it is fitting that he will learn from him. It is also ironic that both he and Kobe were the 13th overall selections.

Marshon has promised he will do everything he can to get Kobe 2 more rings for a total of 7 so he can surpass Michael Jordan..evident in the picture above.

With #14, Houston pick Chris Singleton.

2nd time to picked him in my 2nd game so far. Like his defence which is a known quantity and he can guard 1 through 4 which is a big plus. We rather take a known quantity in an unsure draft.

At 15 with a wealth of talent at the 4 and 5 Chicago bets on the upside of a player

PF Donetas Montejunas
who has been playing professionally in Europe for some time now. He has been described as a tougher Bargnani. As a 3rd stringer he can be tutored by future HOF Duncan.
