GM a TEAM 11/12 - Trades
1. This thread is ONLY for trades, do not clutter it up with discussions. IF you have an issue with a trade please copy the trade and post it in the discussion thread with your reasoning.
2. All trades must be numbered or I will not approve them. This helps keep track of things.
3. Make sure rosters are up to date before posting trade as per the rules listed in roster thread.
4. All sides must agree to trade within 24 hours or it will not be approved and will need to be reposted.
5. All salaries must be listed and all math shown including BYC and PPP. If they are not the trade will be denied.
6. All trade proposals must include reasons for making trade.
7. Once roster limits go into effect all trades must stay within the 12 to 15 player limit. If you need to sign or waive a player to make this happen do so before making the trade.
8. All approved trades will be posted in the 'approved trades' thread.

Re: GM a TEAM 11/12 - Trades
1st trade: PDX and MIA have a trade to announce.
PDX outgoing:
LaMarcus Aldridge$12,372,000
Wesley Matthews$6,135,160
Armon Johnson $788,872
=$19,296,032
rights to Victor Claver
POR 2012 1st (unprotected)
MIA outgoing:
Dwyane Wade $15,691,000
Lets get this thing started with a bang! Wade is a top 3-4 player and we are lucky to acquire him. His defensive tenacity and ability to take over games is legendary and a defensive supporting cast of Felton/Wallace/Batum/Oden/Camby should be enough to do damage in the west.

as much as I think DWade is the heart and sould of Miami and the FACE of the franchise, I decided to build around LeBron (I never have done that before). Dwade will be very much missed! My goal is to make Miami a 7-8 player deep team, not a 3 players team. This helps toward that goal. Good luck DWade, it is sad to see you go

trade #2
Miami and Lakers agree to a trade
Miami will sent
Armon Johnson $788,872
Chris Bosh $16,022,500
totals: $16,811,372 x 1.25% + 100,000 = $21,114,2115
Lakers trade
Pau Gasol $18,714,150
Matt Barnes $1,906,200
totals: $20,620,350
Miami doe sthis simply because we think Pau is a better fit. I am not sure Bosh and LMA could work together. Pau and LMA make a much better pair. Barnes is a solid role player

Trade #3
OKC and CHI have reached an agreement...
Russel Westbrook $5,082,416
Serge Ibaka $1,288,200
2012 2nd/2013 1st
for
Derrik Rose $6,993,708
don't need the math since OKC is under the cap enough to absorb the difference
OKC does this to bring in the league MVP. We hate to lose Ibaka but feel we can replace him in FA and the upgrade to Rose balances out his loss.
OKC accept

Trade 4#
PDX and CHI have a trade to announce:
PDX outgoing:
Marcus Camby $12,866,332
Nicolas Batum $2,155,365
total: $15,021,697
CHI outgoing;
Carlos Boozer $13,500,000
Boozer was injured most of last season, when healthy he is a lock for 20/10. He has a great post game and a solid mid range game, the only thing lacking in his game is defense. But we believe Oden can cover for him there.

Re: GM a TEAM 11/12 - Trades
EDIT: Trade #5
The Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder have a blockbuster deal to announce.
The Clippers Receive:
PG Eric Maynor ($1,516,680)
SG Thabo Sefolosha ($3,550,000)
C Kendrick Perkins ($7,347,376)
C Cole Aldrich ($2,286,000)
2013 2nd Round Pick
The Thunder Receive:
SF Ryan Gomes ($4,000,000)
PF Brian Cook ($1,265,976)
2012 1st Round Pick (via Minnesota)
The Clippers are far enough under the cap to swallow the $9,434,080 difference in salary.
The Clippers accept.
It's extremely tough to part ways with that Minnesota first round pick, but we're pretty confident that the Timberwolves GM Klomp is going to put a team that is looking to contend in Minnesota. Hell, he can't be any worse than David Kahn. But on a more serious note, Kendrick Perkins was a guy I targeted immediately. He's 26 years old and locked into a very team friendly deal. Add his defense with Blake Griffin's offensive abilities, and you've got arguably the best PF/C combination in the game today and neither has hit their prime. Eric Maynor, Thabo Sefolosha and Cole Aldrich are all nice young players to add to our core. We're pretty excited about this deal tbh even if we would have preferred to keep the pick.

We hate to part with yet another big man but we feel we can better fill that void in FA with all the cap space we just created. That Minny pick is a nice bonus and could come in handy as trade bait down the road.

Trade #6
The Utah Jazz and the Washington Wizards have a trade to announce.
Jazz receives:
Rashard Lewis (21,136,630)
Jordan Crawford (1,120,440)
Chris Singleton (1,485,000)
2012 Washington 1st
= 23,742,070
Wizards receives:
AL Jefferson (14,000,000)
Mehmet Okur (10,000,000)
2012 Utah 2nd
= 24,000,000
Utah accepts. We trade two players that we just don't see as fits for us long term. We get arguably the best defender in the 2011 draft (Singleton), a promising young sg that could develop into a great 6th man (Crawford) and a potentially solid pick in a deep draft. Yes, we have to take back Shard's contract, but it's a sacrifice we are willing to make. Good dealings Washington!

Accept. This is our first step of making a contender in Washington. Jefferson averaged 19/10, 2 bpg last year and he will be a big addition. He is one of the better PFs in the league. Also getting rid of Lewis and adding Okur's expiring really helps us out. Sucks to give up two prospects I was pretty high on but oh well.

We hate to have to take back Lopez, but Outlaw was too good to pass up, and we couldn't wait to dump ellis. Nice dealing.

NJN accept.
First we know this won't be approved until out roster is up and running but we wanted it up so nothing changes. Outlaw has one of the top 5 WORST contracts in this game, if not number one. We are glad to see him go. Lopez is the worst rebounding center in the league so its not like were losing out there. Monta makes up for the scoring. We feel we now have the best most versitle, most complete, most dynamic, back court in the league as well. Dwill and Monta fit together like bread and butter and are gonna dominate and convince a big man outta Orlando to come to town in 2012 ; ) Good dealing atko!

Minny/GSW have agreed to a deal.
Minny Sends- Nikola Pekovic($4,503,600)
GSW Send- Andris Biedrins ($9,000,000)
Minnesota has the cap space to absorb the difference making a tpe of $4,496,400 for GSW.
We accept. After taking on Outlaw we wanted to somehow save some money and this did that. Biedrins sucked in a run n gun system so he had to go.
Pekovic is officially otb.

Wolves accept. We realize AB has a high salary, but believe that he can stay healthy and return to his former self. At 24, he fits right in with the team's young core. We never anticipated getting someone like AB in return for Pekovic.

Pacers Get

Wizards Get
Brandon Rush $2,956,658

*IND has enough cap space to absorb extra salary.
Accept. We like Rush's ability to hit the 3 and defend. Also the cap space will help me get someone in FA hopefully.

The Pacers accept. We feel like this is extremely good value. Blatche is a tremendous offensive force that fits in well with the Pacers uptempo style of play, trading for him also ensures we don't have to overpay for a similarly talented player in free agency, like Nene.
