I have a feeling I'm likely forgetting something huge. I looked over some potentials and saw a lot of bigs. Given that, I'm going to take my dominant wing scorer now.

Paul Pierce.

/flame on for rushing it.

Sorry for the wait, with the third pick in All NBA Reject Draft, 5th Pick Sucks select PG Russell Westbrook. Not saying he's the best, but I'm going for the newest and the best

Team Snakebites selects the first non-current player in this draft: Bob Lanier.

Overlooked by All-NBA team selectors because he played in an era in which a third of the league had a hall of fame big man, this center had very few weaknesses in his game.

Great post player and capable jumpshooter, along with strong rebounding, passing and a sound defensive presence. A truly elite big man in this game by any measure.

With the 5th pick in the draft, Team RiotPunch is thrilled to select:

Kevin Johnson, Point Guard

With PG's going off the board fast, we felt the need to grab our guy here. KJ was the original super athletic PG. He scored and passed with the best of 'em. KJ is one of only three players in NBA history (Oscar Robertson and Isiah Thomas are the others) to have averaged at least 20.0 points and 10.0 assists in three consecutive seasons. He will be a great floor general for my squad.

well I have decided to build a little differently then I originally intended.

I will go a BIG with a 18pts/11reb/1.7block stat line that is EFF and a solid defensive player , plus a champion who puts up a slightly better stat line in the playoffs in 2009/2010

He can play either PF/C which allows me flexability later in the draft. Pau may be the top 2 way C in this game.

We might as well grab an anchor, because even though talent is short, scoring is not.

Dikembe Mutombo.

Dave Cowens. Only actual MVP available in this game (I believe) and has great range, defense, rebounding, passing, and intangibles.

Joe Dumars

This was a hard choice for me, but I think the other guys I was looking at might be there in the 2nd round. Joe brings a lock-dwon defender on the wing, a guy who can effectively play both PG and SG, and who also brings great range and knock-down shooting to my team.

He scored 30 PPG four years in a row, shooting over 50% from the field every season ... he's in the Hall of Fame ... and I'm thrilled to start my team with:

Reggie Miller. Great shooter, closer, decent defender, overlooked in the Jordan era but had some great playoff performances and gives me great flexibilty for my next pick.

Robert Parish.

Tough choice here but he was a proven winner and good team player, not afraid to do the dirty work, great offensive game, underrated defensively,(first in defensive rating, 5 x top 6 in DWS), great passer.

Ow. I wanted Parish too. Tough call - probably a dozen Hall of Famers left. But I'll pass them all up and take Blake Griffin.

Shawn Kemp

One of the best power dunkers ever, and also a mismatch when trying to cover him. 20/11/2/1/1.5, .561 FG% in his peak season, he is a force to be reckoned with. May be the best PF on offense in this draft, and I love his pairing with Joe D.

Sigh, I wish I didn't have to do this, but Riotpunch selects Nate Thurmond.
