ATL -1 Player League Signups/Discussion

Ok I have been talking with some people about a new ATL since the old one is just finishing. The Multi-Year GM game also needs some work still, so I thought I'd start this in the mean time. This was Cellar's idea, and he didn't mind that I run it, so here it goes.
11 rounds, ABCD style drafting (to compensate for this game's style), hopefully 16 posters in this game. Every player is available.
ABCD is this:
A - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16
B - 16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
C - 9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
D - 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9
The twist comes in the match ups. In each of your first 4 matchups you can't play with one of your first 4 draft picks. So if you get Jordan, Magic, Kareem and Bird in your first 4 picks, one of the games you will be without Jordan, and you get the others, another game you are without Magic, but have the others and so on. Each game you get to chose who to drop, but after the first 4 matchups, you must have dropped each of your first 4 picks once.
The strategy comes in the drafting, and who you chose to drop. Since you lose 1 of your main players each matchup, the 10 other players you have should be versatile, to compensate the loss of the player you lose in each matchup.
The choice on who to drop is also important. You could drop your 2 worst players (picks 3 and 4) in the first rounds to get to the 2nd round, or you could save your best players (picks 1 and 2) for the later rounds, but risk not getting there at all. Or you could do something else, it's all up to you.
The draft won't start for a while (a week or so?) because the current ATL isn't quite done (and I don't want to be stepping on anyone's toes...
) so we'll wait for then to start the draft.
Also, if you sign up, please try and be active the whole time, we had a bit of an issue with that last game, just want it to be fun and fair for everyone.
