GMAT - 2 offseason - Trades and Transactions

Post#1 » by moss_is_1 » Sat Mar 31, 2012 7:40 pm

use this thread to post trades

1. must follow trade rules
2. must list salaries for current season for each player to prove that trade works
3. MUST NUMBER YOUR TRADE
4. all teams involved must post why they accept the deal
5. Roster has to be updated for trades to be approved

also please don't junk up the thread, if something is off which would make the trade not valid, you can post that, but if you want to comment on a deal, please do so in the "Discussions Thread"

this thread is ONLY FOR ANNOUNCING TRADES

Confirmed. Gortat is 16/10 on 56% and good defense, making about 7 million this year. He is only 27 as well. Dudley is a great 3 and D guy that can play both wing spots and defend the best perimeter player on the other team.

It's TRADE #2

Why? Denver wants to compete, Atlanta was looking for a young SF, so we had the chance to get Horforf. Good trade for us. We take on JJ, but he's one of the best SG's and we also get rid of some guys that weren't keepers.

TRADE # 3

OKC trades
Russell Westbrook $12,922,250
Daequan Cook $3,090,942
Nick Collison $2,929,322
2013 CHA 2nd

CLEV trades
Luke Walton $6,087,927
Kyrie Irving $5,375,760
Pick #25 (LA Lakers 1st)
Pick #36 (Clev 2nd)
$3mil in CASH

I know I will be getting killed for this, but Kyrie was a guy I really wanted. There was better value out there, but I wanted Kyrie. Luke has that Championship experience that a young team needs

CLEV has the cap for this to work

Love to bring in Westbrook. Brought in some depth for my roster and we're still in decent shape for the cap. But I am going to be collecting draft picks, so offer away after I lost this one.

TRADE # 4

Sac trades
Tyreke Evans $5,251,825
Travis Outlaw $3,000,000
totals: $8,251,825

WASH trades
Nene $13,000,000

* Wash also gets a TPE for $4,748,175

another deal that I think I left value on the table, but I want to build a winning team and change things up in Sac and starting with a BIG is a key starting spot. Tyreke brought alot to Sac but we want to go in another direction. Pleasure as always dealin man!

TRADE # 5

OKC trades
Kevin Durant $16,669,629

LA Clippers trade
Blake Griffin $7,226,892
DeAndre Jordan $10,532,977
2013 LAC 1st
TOTALS: $17,759,869

got goal #2 now this round. Another deal that could have netted me more value, but been there done that with KD, wanted something new. Blake is worth the risk.

UTA and MEM have a trade to announce.

UTA outgoing:
Paul Millsap $8,603,633
Enes Kanter $4,319,280
Cash: 3mill
total: $12,922,913

MEM outgoing:
Rudy Gay $16,460,538

Rudy is one of the most gifted and talented players in the league. He is an underrated defender, pretty clutch and is a good all around player. We had a lot of bigs and felt we needed to add a scorer to the lineup.

The Grizz accept.

It's tough parting ways with Rudy Gay who is one of the most underrated players in the league and plays really good defense. Paul Millsap is also vastly underrated, and we think the world of Enes Kanter.

Washington accepts. We needed a SG and a player who could take over a game (not Wall) badly, Tyreke fit both of those needs. Wall has been averaging 7.7 Assists per game without much offensive help this season, with Tyreke who's averaging 17 PPG now at the helm Wall's assists should go up, now Washington has a formidable back court with 2 players who know how to distribute as well as score (Wall 7.7 APG, and Tyreke a solid 4.7 APG). We also wanted to get rid of Nene and his bad long term contract, he's still a very good player but he wasn't in our future plans. Nice Dealin SamBone

Trade #7:

Denver-Utah

Denver trades:

Al Horford $12,000,000

Utah trades:

Raja Bell $3,480,000
Derrick Favors $4,753,320
Alec Burks $2,111,160

= $10,344,480 * 1,25 = 12,930,600

Why for Denver?

Horford's injury has lessened his trade value. Utah made a good offer and we pulled the trigger. 8-)

Horford isn't a guy that has a history of big injuries and we are confident that beside a real center like Gortat he will thrive. Favors has shown flashes but Horford is still young and much more proven,

LAC accepts. Blake is a scummy player and only one move away from a stupid knee injury. His ugly face would look bad on my roster page.

Kevin Durant is the league's best scorer, and averaging a phenomenal 28/8 this year on crazy efficiency. I don't care that he can't pass, I still think he's more effective than LeBron.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Trade #8

Minnesota Send -
Derrick Williams - $4,809,840 || $5,016,960 || $6,331,404 || $8,262,482
Luke Ridnour - $4,000,000 || $4,320,000
2 Million Cash

1.5x8,809,840= 13,214,760

Milwaukee Bucks Send -
Monta Ellis - 12,000,000

I think this is the 3rd game in a row that Monta Ellis has been my first trade. He will fit very well in this this team, Love spacing the floor and Rubio setting the table. Wow it'll be nice.

MIL accepts. Rid has been great for the Wolves and can start if I move Jennings. I also LOVE Dwill, he can do everything, and can be a great core piece. 2M cash helps too, and I save a few million.

Trade #9:
Denver-Atlanta

Denver trades:

Alec Burks 2,111,160
Kenneth Faried 1,311,240
Raja Bell 3,480,000
DEN 1st 2013
GSW 2nd 2013

= 6,844,800

Atlanta trades:

Josh Smith 13,200,000

Denvers salary before deal: 48,667,304 ~11mil of capspace. >> therefore, deal works.

After long discussions we finally get JSmoove. We wanted to get him together with Horford and JJ but weren't able to get a deal. Now we finally get the guy we wanted, are involved in the 3rd deal of the first 9 trades and the 2nd time with ATl.

Atlanta accepts. We love Burks and the rebounding machine Faried. Getting another 1st is nice because we are rebuilding
