SEA outgoing:
Kevin Durant $15,506,632

Confirmed. Durant is 28/8/4 on 50% at age 23. Could be the MVP. Decent trade chip.

$26,515,678 > $26,260,911 > Trade works.
Why? We weren't interested in that Mission Europe. Iggy and Turner are nice players to build around.

Milwaukee and Phoenix have a trade to announce.
Bucks out:
Kwame Brown - ($6,750,000)
Milwaukee's 2012 1st
Total = $6,750,000
Suns out:
Marcin Gortat - ($6,790,640)
Total = $6,790,640
The Bucks feel like Marcin is one of the best centers in the league, and better than any player we could potentially get at #12 in the draft. There was a void created at C when Bogut left town, so we fill that void with Gortat. Good dealing, Phoenix.

San Antonio Trade
Tiago Splitter - $3,672,000
Kawhi Leonard - $1,731,960
DeJuan Blair - $986,000
Matt Bonner - $3,315,000
Patrick Mills - $854,389
Total = $10,559,349 (* 1.25 + $100k = $13,299,186)
The Spurs will also send the maximum $3m cash to Atlanta as part of the deal.
Atlanta Hawks Trade
Josh Smith - $12,400,000 - (works within the 125% rule as above)
followed by:
Jason Collins - $854,389 for nothing. Works as Collins is a min.
The Spurs are going all in here. We love Josh Smith and think he can thrive in a high IQ environment under Gregg Popovich. It is hard giving up on Leonard's potential and Splitter is showing he's a legit starting C in the league, but I'm eager to make my mark on this franchise.

PDX and DEN have a trade to announce.
PDX outgoing:
Raymond Felton $7,560,000
Hasheem Thabeet $5,127,720
Jonny Flynn $3,414,720
total: $16,102,440
DEN outgoing:
Arron Afflalo $7,562,500
Al Harrington $6,226,200
Chris Andersen $4,234,000
total: $18,022,700
Salary is close enough, deal works.
Confirmed. We give up our expiring contracts for a nasty perimeter defender in Afflalo who can also score. 15/3/2 on 47/39 and a top 5 perimeter defender, Afflalo is a nice fit beside Durant. Harrington is an elite 6th man (14/6) and Anderson is a shot blocking big. Great dealing DEN.

Chicago Sends:
Derrick Rose - $6,993,708
Brian Scalabrine - $854,389

We do it because Derrick Rose is a legit superstar and we want to compete now. Kyrie Irving is a future MVP candidate, but we feel like Rose is already there. The extra picks were worth feeding our impatience!

New York trades:
Amar'e Stoudemire - 18,217,705 (13,217,705 for trade purposes and against Boston's cap.)
Boston trades:
Ray Allen - 10,000,000
Brandon Bass - 4,250,000
2012 Boston 2nd
Salaries are fine.
New York would like to thank Amar'e Stoudemire for the excitement he brought to our organization last year. He revitalized this team and gave the fans something to cheer for. However, his contract, age, injury history, and inconsistencies of late have put him and the Knicks in different places. We've brought in David Lee through the contraction draft who provides equal, if not better production for a portion of the cost. We wish STAT all of the best and hope he can return to form in Boston with Rondo feeding him the ball.
That being said, we are incredibly pleased to be bringing Ray and Brandon into the fold. Both are good locker room guys and can contribute in big ways on the court. Ray, obviously, is one of the best shooters to ever touch a basketball. Him playing off of Jeremy and Melo will create a lot of opportunities for big plays and relieve pressure on everyone. B Bass is another big who can bang down low and do some dirty work. He's going to play a big part this year.

You had Seraphin before the trade, would presumably have to add him to it for it to work.
Trade #14
Pacers & Rockets announce deal
Indiana Pacers send George Hill $ 1,540,463 and Indy's 2012 & 2013 1st round pick (considerations*); to
Houston Rockets for Kevin Martin $ 6,519,840 (Mini Amnestied in HOU).
The Pacers salaries are about $ 45,000,000 so they have the cap space to assume the additional 4.9M in salary.

Paul George: ($2,406,240)
Roy Hibbert: ($2,588,590)
