In a downtown San Francisco press conference, the recent free agent signings of Holiday, Milsap and Garnett were all introduced to the new city, and the team cut the ribbon outside the new stadium currently under construction. Professional basketball has officially returned to the Bay area, replacing the previously contracted Warriors.

It was hard to keep a secret as the cranes went up, and the rumors floated. Now we finally have the official story, which includes a state of the art downtown arena, and expected to be completed asap. (The old stadium in Oakland is available on an interm basis).


Financial costs of the move include:
1 Relocation fees - $50,000,000
2. Renaming fees - $10,000,000
3. Arena building fees - $600,000,000
4. Logo Design - 3,000,000 to Seattle


Update: Season tickets have already sold out, lasting less then one and a half hours. Some single game seats will be made available on a limited basis, and the team is accepting wait list applications.
