you did have totals (missed that) but the salary numbers are illegal as are the years.

IF you do not own bird rites then you can only offer a 4 year deal at 4.5% raises.

You can't buy out the $1m; you've waived him earlier so the $1m remains against your cap.

Really? I thought cause it was a team option. Can I... retake my team option and just use cash on him and fully rid myself of him?

lukekarts is right. You had to either buyout his entire contract, or waive him and leave the 1 million cap hit on your books. You chose the latter.

Up to the commish. You'd need to spend $5m in the case you're allowed to do that.

I'm totally fine paying more than 5 million as punishment. I have 9 million in cash. I'll pay 6-7 million.

He's due 5 million for this upcoming year, so that means 5.5 million will be needed to buy him out.

Technically midday tomorrow; but that's not to say the guys can't decide sooner; especially if they're pretty set and you're sure there's nothing to negotiate on... just run it past Karmaloop before they announce.

Following the completion of deals 199 & 201, Boston:

1. Waives Matt Bonner - taking the guaranteed cap hit of $1m
2. Buys out Richard Jefferson for $11.5m

We have $0.5m cash remaining, working is on our roster.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.
