Orlando vs Chicago

There should be no doubt that the best player in this series is Kyrie Irving. Our defense will clearly overwhelm Chicago, as Iggy, Serge and Marc are three of the best defensive players at their positions. Chicago's D is definitely lackluster against guys like Serge, who can stretch the floor, and the Gasol bros, who are still two very gifted offensive weapons that Chicago can't guard. We also have better shooting in the form of Kyrie, Wes, Fournier and Iggy. If you're relying on Conley, Gallo and Vuc to do the majority of your scoring for you, well, good luck.

We really believe we win this matchup easily with one of the best fitting teams in the tournament. Chicago's team doesn't really fit, and will have their weaknesses exploited against us.

Knicks vs Bucks

Durant is a great player but with the Bucks, all 5 of our starters are great defensive players who can all take turns on him. Every screen will be switched which is the beauty of our roster. Giannis at PG and Green at C can each guard 1-5 and we are not worried about DAJ being able to punish Smart or anyone for switching. Defense wins championships and we have the best defense in the game to pull the 8-1 upset.

Eagles vs Wizards

First off congrats to the Wizards. You have a nice team there.

The Eagles are built to be a spread out the court. Rubio will play solid defense against Wall and also distribute the rock to Hood or Hayward. We have the defense to stop Wizards players. Crowder will come of the bench and be a ball stopper. The second unit is the best unit in all the league. They are good enough to be a starting unit for a handle full of teams. Rudy and favors will play tight defense against Gortat and Horford. Eagles win the 5 games.

BBC Pit Bulls vs Charlotte Hornets

Our defense lead by 2 x DPOY Kawhi Leonard will give this Charlotte team fits. Bradley will play a big role on that end as well by slowing down Kemba, while Towns, Dieng, Baynes and WCS protect the paint for 48 minutes. Our Assistant Coach Thibs will make sure our team is a well oiled defensive monster on that end of the floor.

Our offense will show lot's of ball movement and has scorers at ever position and an ability to stretch the floor with Bradley, Kawhi, Lavine, Towns, & Dieng all able to bury the 3 ball. We expect many transition buckets generated by our great D. This team will be hard to stop.

Coach Stevens has his vet generals in Kawhi & Bradley to make sure this team plays an unselfish style of basketball and we expect them to lead by example and carry us to victory.

Washington over UAE (4-2). I actually like Washington's bench better. Dragic off the bench is nasty, could lead to some serious issues on the defensive end for UAE. I believe in Wall, Beal and Gortat, and with Horford and Kieff on board there's a lot of talent, probably too much for underdeveloped guys like Exum and over the hill vets like Johnson to deal with. Otto and Dudley.....well, I've made my pick.
Barcelona over Charlotte (4-0). Two top 15 players and a very good bench and supporting cast take the cake over average talent.
NY over Milwaukee (4-1)

New York 4-1 over Milwaukee - Neither team has great depth but NYK has too much firepower for the Bucks to overcome.

UAE Eagles 4-3 over WIzards - This series was tight and came down to a great defensive sequence at the end of OT in game 7 to help the Eagles pull out the victory.

Orlando eeks this out 4-3 over the Bulls - This was a crazy back & forth series with a Kyrie dagger being the difference in the end.

NY in 5 the class of the East
Wash in 7 if the Seeding was reversed I wouldnt be surprised
Barc in 6 a really up and coming team
Orl in 6 bruising skilled frontcourt plus Irving and veteran defenders.

Barcelona - Beats My Charlotte Hornets - A bit to much for my guys - a couple of the young guys need to learn how to win in the post season, but I like the Hornets going forward and stars could emerge from my depth chart - Don't need to count this vote but I voted against my own team

ORLANDO 4 to 2. Kyrie - front line and shortened rotation with Matthews and Pau is a tough out for anyone!

UAE 4-2, primarily due to depth.
Orlando 4-3, close matchup but the pieces seem to fit together a little better.

NYK and BBC move on to the second round with 4-0 sweeps
Orlando also moves on to the 2nd round with a 4-1 win
UAE moves on to round 2 with a toughly contested 4-2 series victory

on to round 2 for the East
