Is there any FGA limitation or anything in this? I am fine either way just want it clear before we start for everyone. Also, assuming we are using age on basketball reference listed for season chosen. If they are 25 is that ok or do they have to be under 25 so 24 is oldest?

Good questions i forgot to include in the signup thread, 90 FGA limit, and i was thinking 25 and under but can understand if others want the latter.

Do you mean just trading picks prior to the draft starting like we usually do or in-draft trades? Cause those are very different things.

BTW I think we should 25 AND Under, not under 25, like you said Goober. But if that's the case the language should really be changed in the thread titles because Under 25 would mean 25 year olds are not eligible. Just saying.

You could trade players selected and/or upcoming picks for players selected and/or upcoming picks - so long as you have the same number being traded from each side, I would think.

I would be game for that but it would complicate things A LOT and create a major need for everyone to be able to pm... Not sure others would be on board but I totally am.

1) Do we have people that can't pm?

2) Maybe it would be fun to discuss trades openly if we choose to - either in the discussion thread or a thread dedicated to trades. Like someone has the #1 and opens it up to offers. It would give us something to chew on between picks...

My only issue with the trading is if people are going to be sitting around for 3 hours every pick hoping that they might get a great trade offer. I could see it really slowing down the draft. If we are doing trading, I think we need shorter draft windows.

Personally, I don't like the idea of having trades in these games. It just complicates things too much, would take too much time, and it's really not like you can't find the type of player you need, with such a big talent pool.

True to a point, but if that's always the case why would people be disappointed about certain players getting selected before they could get them?

There's always a pretty big group of players that everybody wants, so I don't think the people who are fortunate enough to draft them, would want to trade them.

Yeah I'm going to say no trades for this, I don't really want to keep track of that and is a bit moot in this type of game :D

Do we get the .85 multiplier for 1976 or earlier?

if this is keeping people out i'm happy to change it, just thought it would be a fresh twist.

I think we will get enough people. You really wanted the twist and it had some support. I'd say try it for a game if we can get 16 people.

Yeah it's pretty early and we've played with under 16, though we'd all prefer 16. It would surprise me if many people feel this way.

Has a decision been made on age yet? Is it under 25 or 25 AND Under. This makes a substantial difference and needs to be clear and unambiguous.
