Forgotten Stars R2 - Timmaytime vs. pelifan*

Post#1 » by Laimbeer » Sun Aug 13, 2017 2:11 am

Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on roster page).

'93 Hakeem Olajuwon - 19.5
'82 Alex English - 18.9
'82 Sidney Moncrief - 13.3
'10 Paul Pierce - 12.2
'88 John Stockton - 9.6
'95 Anthony Mason - 6.6
'91 Charles Jones - 2.0
'09 Chuck Hayes - 1.6

total: 64.8/65

John Stockton (38) / Sidney Moncrief (10)
Sidney Moncrief (28) / Paul Pierce (20)
Alex English (38) / Paul Pierce (10)
Anthony Mason (32) / Paul Pierce (4) / Charles Jones (12)
Hakeem Olajuwon (38) / Chuck Hayes (8) / Charles Jones (2)

I like my team better than Pel likes his.

Mason is a good cover defensively for Barkley, same for Squid on Tiny. Stockton guards West.

We've got excellent all-around players at every position, vote Timmaytime

I came in feeling Pel simply had a decent talent advantage, and as compelling as the write ups were, they didn't sway me.

Stockton running the offense is the difference for me. I also don't think Pel's team is very good defensively. TT definitely is.

I like what TT did but pel's talent is overwhelming.

I think Hakeem really dominates this version of Wilt and prefer the TT backcourt.

I agree that Pel has a talent advantage, and a very convincing writeup.
