PG: 16-17 Chris Paul (12.9 FGA)
SG: 71-72 Gail Goodrich (20.7*0.85 = 17.6 FGA)
SF: 06-07 Shawn Marion (13.4 FGA)

R: 09-10 Jared Dudley (6.0 FGA)
R: 03-04 Karl Malone (9.5 FGA)

Total: 88.3/90

Rotation:

Chris Paul (38) / Gail Goodrich (10)
Gail Goodrich (28) / Jared Dudley (10) /James Jones (10)
Shawn Marion (32) / Jared Dudley (16)
Amar'e Stoudemire (26) / Karl Malone (14) / Shawn Marion (8)
Brad Miller (36) / Amar'e Stoudemire (12)

Writeup:

We will run a fast paced, dynamic offense, built around CP3, Goodrich, and Amar'e. We have plenty of good midrange shooters (Paul, Miller, Goodrich) in addition to potent roll threats in Stoudemire and Malone. Paul, in addition to being an all time great floor general, is a top tier defender at PG, while Marion can guard just about anyone from 2-4. Dudley has similar defensive versatility off the bench.

Rotation/Depth Chart:

PG: Mike Bibby (38)/Ron Harper (10)
SG: Michael Cooper (30)/Ron Harper (18)

PF: Clifford Robinson (38)/David West (4)/Hedo Turkoglu (6)
C: Nate Thurmond (40)/David West (8)

FGA:

Elgin Baylor-1960/61-(29.7 x 0.85)=25.3
Nate Thurmond-1966/67-(16.4 x 0.85)=14.0
Michael Cooper-1986/87-9.0
Clifford Robinson-1998/99-12.6
Mike Bibby-2003/04-14.3
Ron Harper-1999/00-6.6
David West-2016/17-3.7
Hedo Turkoglu-2000/01-4.5

Total FGA: 90/90

Team Concept: I built a balanced offensive and defensive team. Offensively, Elgin Baylor will be the main focal point obviously and I built a team around him where he can be the most successful. Baylor is at his best slashing to the rim and scoring inside and he will be able to do that successfully with all the spacing I provided for him. I surrounded Baylor with three 3 point shooters in Bibby, Cooper, and Robinson who all hovering around 40% from the 3 point line for the seasons chosen. Baylor is a solid passer too so he can give the ball to these shooters as well so the outside/inside game will be tough to stop. There is ton of playmaking on my team as well from Bibby, Cooper, Baylor, and Harper. My bigs West and Thurmond are decent enough passers too. Defensively, Nate Thurmond will be the anchor who is one of the best all time on that end. He is a great shot blocker and rebounder. Not to mention Baylor is one of the best at rebounding as well for his position. Baylor and Thurmond will be relentless grabbing rebounds defensively and for second chance opportunities offensively. Cooper is a great defensive player as well who won the DPOY for his season chosen. I bring some defensive toughness off the bench in Harper and West who won the championship in their season chosen. Not to mention Harper providing offensive spark if needed as he will be my sixth man on my team. All in all, Baylor will carry the team offensively while Thurmond and Cooper will lead the team defensively.

63 Oscar Robertson 17.0
08 Raja Bell 10.0
03 Peja Stojakovic 14.4
09 Lamar Odom 9.0
95 Vlade Divac 12.0
14 Eric Bledsoe 12.9
00 Rodney Rogers 10.7
16 Cole Aldrich 3.8

Oscar Robertson (40) / Eric Bledsoe (8)
Raja Bell (28) / Eric Bledsoe (20)
Peja Stojakovic (34) / Rodney Rogers (8) / Raja Bell (6)
Lamar Odom (30) / Rodney Rogers (18)
Vlade Divac (35) / Cole Aldrich (13)

We'll score a ton - good spacing, distribution, a lead dog and plenty of creation. Stopping people will be more of a challenge but we aren't as deficient as I expected to be when I picked Peja 2nd. Obviously Big O guards 2s when Bledsoe is in, but Oscar will have the ball in his hands. Lots of passing ability as usual, more ball handling than I usually get, bit less defense than I prefer. We'll be good against any PnR heavy squad, so I just have to force the post-up bigs off the floor with spacing and shooting.
