Which way are you leaning in terms of deciding a winner?
This is funny coming from me, but I'd actually prefer playoffs for this one if we can get 16. We've been doing wall-to-wall rankings lately and it's getting a tad monotonous.

I thought top picks had the advantage in the Teammates game with two and it grows by a bit with three.

Not sure yet depends on what the consensus wants here. If it was stacked like the teammates thread, which will likely happen here..we might have to playoffs on this one which could be a little easier to judge than rank all the teams. You do make a good point about rankings being done lately as well as lot of division drafts so I thought this draft would be a nice change of pace and another reason why playoffs may be the way to go!

Ouch. 42 players taken before I get player one. Looks like a participation trophy for this one.

. Players
. Rotations (all your players must play a minimum of 8 minutes)
. Draft selections
. The most important of all, you must show the total FGA per player on your roster AND a total sum of each players FGA to display that it is under the required 100 FGAs. You can use the .85 multiplier on pre-merger seasons. You will round down if less than 5 or round up if greater than 5 (example 19.5 rounds to 20 while 19.4 rounds to 19). Each player must have played at least half of the regular season games for that team. Each trio must be from the same season.
. Write-ups if needed for rankings or if you like to do one
Just to be clear, does this rounding refer to the ABA multiplier or the FGA in general?

The rounding refers to the ABA multiplier (I'll edit it). For post-merger seasons, FGA will be whatever is listed on basketball reference for that season.

I'm pretty sure who I'd go with at #1, though I can see a case for two other trios. It will be interesting to see how different the first round is in this one. The extra FGAs may impact things a bit.

Since we're open on the method, how about assigning three judges at random to each matchup? Fifteen matchups, sixteen participants. That means no one would need to judge more than three and we could spread the judging duties across everyone.

I'm starting to wonder if the 2018 season will be available.

In the meantime... would anybody have gone a different direction with #2?
