Draft Rules:
1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the 1969-70 season to the 2016-17 season will be available to be drafted. You can draft players that came into the league before 1970 season but the season you choose can't be before 1969-70 season.
2. You will select three players with each pick. The season selected must be the same for all three players and they must have been teammates that season. Each must have played at least half of the regular season games for that team.
3. You will draft a total of 9 players over 3 rounds.
4. You will have 100 FGAs available.
5. The winner will be decided by a playoff or ranking system or mixture of both to be determined.
6. You must state the specific season of the players you choose to draft. You don't have to do it right away when you make your selection but you must state it on your team roster page.
7. We will be doing a different draft method. It will go like this: ABB.
8. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to myself or another participant in that way we can ensure the draft runs smoothly with no hiccups. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you can be skipped immediately. The commissioner reserves the right to skip or replace coaches as needed. Feel free to add pictures as well when you pick!
9. The clock will start day or two after sign ups are finished. The clock will stop from 12 AM to 9 AM EST.
10. Draft order will be completely randomized.
11. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. The quoting is only a courtesy. The clock starts after the previous pick. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.
12. You can use the .85 multiplier on pre-merger seasons. You will round down if less than 5 or round up if greater than 5 (example 19.5 rounds to 20 while 19.4 rounds to 19).
Team Roster Page Rules:
1. You will be responsible for creating a roster page for your fantasy team. Here are the things that you will be required to include on your roster page:
. Players
. Rotations
. Draft selections
. The most important of all, you must show the total FGA per player on your roster AND a total sum of each players FGA to display that it is under the required 100 FGAs.
Playoff/Ranking Rules:
1. After the draft has been completed we will determine a champion by playoffs/rankings. First to 4 or 5 votes wins. Once vote has been posted, it can not be changed. I'm thinking about top 4 via rankings and five votes moves on for the final four, but we will see what you guys think.
2. All yours players must play a minimum of 8 minutes.
Most importantly, this is only a game, and in the end, it's all for fun and entertainment so don't take it too seriously if something doesn't go your way that you thought it would. Hope you all have a good time, and may the best team win..best of luck to you all!
