Melo would be the best player on your team. Why would he come off the bench?

Very happy with my team. Its a sort of hybrid between the early 2000s Mavs and the 2011 Mavs.

It's like the early 2000s Mavs in that the Nash/English/Dirk combo makes it a high octane offensive force, but its like the 2011 Mavs in that it has a prime Dirk, a DPOY center protecting the rim who's better than Chandler, and a nice stable of perimeter defenders (Harper, Posey, Roberson) to help out against troublesome perimeter threats.

Definitely a very fun team to build. Very glad I went with Nash in round 2. That was a tough call but I love the way it turned out.

OK, looks like we're winding down to the last couple of picks this morning. Please complete any makeup picks in the draft thread and have your roster page completed with any write-ups by 10 PM EST Tuesday Night. Send me your top 4 teams via PM by 10PM Wednesday night. You may begin submitting your top four whenever you feel you have enough information. Feel free to discount or disregard teams with incomplete/inaccurate roster pages.

Anyone not submitting rankings by the deadline will not be eligible for the final four playoff.

I always feel it's surprising when Nuggets Nene doesn't get drafted since he's everything you want out of a low field goal big, but his FGAs are surprisingly high at 8 to 10 when you wish he had a season where he dipped to 5 or 6. He even took 5.9/game with the Rockets last year when I would have guessed about 2 or 3

I don't think there's a consensus #1 team out there when doing the rankings. I feel like there are either a lot of good teams bunched next to each other or bad teams relatively speaking when comparing teams (no offense) that I can cross off for my top 4. It will be interesting to see how this ranking plays out.

Three rankings are in and nine different teams have received votes. Pretty fragmented so far.

Wouldnt it have been better to not start the ranking till the writeups were due

I wait until writeups are due, but not everyone seems to think they'd be swayed.

By this point they should be updated. Everybody fire away. Deadline tomorrow 10 PM EST.
