Draft Rules:

1. Subject to the rules to be set out below, players from the eligible teams can be drafted for any season.

2. You will be required to draft a total of 8 players. Players must play a minimum of 8 minutes in your rotations.

3. Each of your chosen seasons must have been played for one of the teams that currently comprise the NBA's Southwest Division (San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Dallas Mavericks) and Northwest Division (Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves), or the predecessors to those franchises as per Basketball Reference. (NOTE: These predecessor franchises may include ABA franchises.)

4. Each player you select must have played at least 50% of regular season games in the season selected. They must also have played at least 50% of their games for a team in the stipulated divisions. (For example, if a player played 38 games for the Heat before being traded to the Spurs and playing another 31 games, that player is eligible to be selected.)

5. The winner of the draft will be decided by a method to be determined.

6. You must state the specific season of the player you choose to draft. You don't have to do it right away when you make your selection but you must state it on your team roster page before the playoffs/rankings begin.

7. Your team will be allowed a combined total of 90.0 FGA corresponding with the specific seasons indicated for each player.

8. The .85 multiplier is in effect for seasons played prior to the 1976 merger. We will use standard rounding rules (i.e. 18.05 counts as 18.1, 18.04 counts as 18.0).

9. We will be doing a modified snake draft. It will go like this: ABBABABA

10. Players will get a maximum of a 2-hour window to make their selection when they are on the clock. If you still have not chosen a player by then, you will be skipped. Also, if you know ahead of time that you won't be available to make your pick on the clock then please PM your selection to another participant. NOTE: If you miss one pick and have failed to make it by the time your next pick comes around, you will be skipped.

11. The clock will be turned off between 12 midnight and 9 AM EDT. The clock will begin Wednesday morning.

12. Draft order will be completely randomized.

13. After you have made your draft selection, please quote and/or PM the person that goes after you so they will know that it is their turn and they are on the clock. The quoting is only a courtesy. The clock begins immediately after a pick is made. You may not change your pick after it has been made, even if the next person in the order has not picked yet.

The draft thread will be maintained at the link, not this OP. Please feel free to update it.
